@iRun2004:  I didn’t have any symptoms at all either, so I feel where you’re coming from. On the other hand lots of ppl get BFPs after feeling totally normal… so… you never know. Hold out if you can. It’s so dissapoinitng to test early and keep seeing blatent BFN’s. ๐Ÿ™ I bought a bunch of dollar store cheapy tests and used all but one. I now have 1 cheapie, 1 wondfo cheapie and 2 First Response tests (the expensive ones, 2 for $20!)  that i will only use if i get a BFP on the other cheapies. I am not allowing myself to buy any more to “store” as i know i’ll only use them too early again just because I have them. I am tempted to have DH hide them all until June 9th so i’m not tempted! LOL.

Be strong, you CAN DO IT! What’s that saying, “good things come to those that wait” ? ๐Ÿ™‚ Positive thoughts from me to you in the meantime though, keep us posted!!!! Just 4 more days my friend, you’ve totally got this!

@StaceyA:  you are fanastic!!!  I may have to come back to that specific post several times in the next few days just to keep me strong.  I don’t have ANY tests stored. So I’m hoping that the double-obstacle of (1) going to buy the tests and (2) my own willpower to wait for Friday will keep me there.

I just wish work would get busy again so I could be distracted until then! I hope you have a blast on your camping trip! We have one scheduled for the end of August, but I’m hoping to find another weekend before then to go.

@StaceyA:  I LOVE your positive outlook on this. I’m so sorry about AF showing. She’s an ugly bitch, isn’t she? But I love all your positive ideas. Looking on the bright side and I LOVE it! =) You are beyond inspirational!!!

@STB Ms.Win:  I totally agree with bunny. I have some spikes in my follicular phase, and a temp drop on CD 10 and 11 would push back your O date.

@bunny:  Well of course I hope your pg, but I hope you find whatever answer you’re looking for as soon as possible. I hate not knowing and waiting… unfortunately that’s the world of TTC, right?

@bunny: CD11 I had to be at work much earlier than normal for a client meeting and my DH had to go out of town unexpectedly to deal with some family issues so I was up really early on CD12 to help himand didn’t temp mostly because I didn’t think about it until after… I guess I could have temped early.

I guess I have to wait an see this cycle once my period starts, if the LP seems longer than normal maybe I will be able to see when I really ovulated.

@ChuckNorris: Thanks for the support

@StaceyA:  Hopefully that’s what happened to me this cycle and because I didn’t temp on CD11 and CD12 I missed it.

Thanks for the advise and support, I was really stressing out reading about the issues that can be associated with a short PF.

@iRun2004:  ๐Ÿ™‚ Anything to help!! If you can, don’t go and buy any. It will only lead you down that dreaded path of temptation! The longer you wait, the more hope you can keep having that your results will be accurate, and hopefully, POSITIVE!!! It’s such a bummer when you see that BFN before hand – kind of makes you lose hope for the rest of the tests which is really sad. Stay strong. Think of how excited you’ll be to buy those HPT’s when you are actually ready to take one…. it will be SO worth it!!!

@ChuckNorris:  Trying to stay positive! And yes, she is a total ugly b#%! So painful this time… ouchies. This is a tough/stressful/nervewracking time for all of us, so figure if anyone can enjoy a little pick me up it’s worth it. I’ve had 4 cups of tea today and feel good about it. LOL!!!

@STB Ms.Win:  You probably just missed those important couple of temps! I wouldn’t get too bummed out about it, everything does look pretty good!

@StaceyA:  Gahhh I woke up this morning and wanted nothing more than to have some tea…. I was advised against it post-O because of the tannic acid possibly inhibiting implantation, so I am swearing it off post-O…lol. I miss it soo much. I love tea! Have you taken the fertility quiz? It’s actually quite interesting.

@ChuckNorris:  I haven’t taken it! Is it on FF? I will have to do that.

I did drink a little tea during the TWW (and had a few beverages too)  but think that with us actively TTC this next go i’ll be quitting all the fun stuff while we wait. I’m thinking i might also stop charting my temps after O (maybe a few days after O when the temps stay high) so they don’t make me crazy again. It’s so hard… it’s great knowing but sometimes ignorance is bliss….

On the other hand, its also nice to have the records from charting from month to month, so quitting after O won’t help for any monthly comparisons. Don’t know… hard to say what i’m going to do. Just thought that maybe not temping during the TWW would make me a little more sane, and just say that June 9/10 is test date and that is that. Thoughts? Stress isn’t good, and self inflicted stress, really not good!! LOL!

@StaceyA:  You know, that is such a good idea! To stop charting after O. I never thought about it. My only fear for me would be getting out of the habit of waking up and temping. I suppose after a few charts of regular O’ing I would be willing to try that too. Once I know I usually O in between CD x-y, I’d feel comfortable with not temping post O. I think I want a few months of charts to compare before I stop doing it. But I think setting a test day and making sure we stick to it sounds like the most stress-reducing way of doing it!!! AF is expected on May 14…but I didn’t O until one week after I was expected to. Should I wait til May 21? I will let you decide cuz I can’t. LOL.

Hey, remember how you discarded CD 18 to make it show that you O’d on CD19? You may wanna undo that, because you probably did O on CD17 if AF came today, you know? That way you can get the most accurate LP and average O date and stuff, you know? I dunno, ‘sup to you ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here is that quiz I was talking about: http://thezollcenter.com/

I was… Stuck and tired. I think. I will have to double check. =)

Looks like I’ll be joining you all for a new month of charting soon! (Is it weird to say that I’ve kind of missed temping?)

@ChuckNorris:  The way i see it (so far) is that my last chat my temps stayed REALLY high until today. They didn’t dip below my coverline even this morning, but close. Came down from the 98.2 average to 97.7, so quite a dip.

Figured if I temp from CD one until maybe 3 days after O (just to confirm it), i can take a break until either AF or until the test date without overanalyzing every single temp. Maybe I’d actualyl even SLEEP on those final few days instead of worrying about my temps? That clearly didn’t do my any good because they stayed really high anyway.

I know FF gives you a “Test date”… so… after O is detected, see what FF says for the test date, plus figure whatever day AF usually shows up and pick a date from there and forget about it until then!

I went back and edited my chart – you were totally right. Knocked the date back to CD17 so we’ll go from there, we’ll see.

Can I see your chart? How long was your last cycle? I would say if you O’d a week later you might have to move your test date. Figure you should allow 14-18 days after O for implantation and before AF shows up (if the miserable bitch does!!) ๐Ÿ™‚ Thoughts?  That might move your test date back… damn!!!

@StaceyA:  I am for anything that makes you feel more calm during this crazy stressful time. I am not even looking at my post-O temps, I’m trying really hard not to focus on the fact that I’m in the God-awful TWW. I just take the temp, put it in short term memory, input it in FF, and go back to sleep/get up and get ready. That’s what’s keeping my sanity =) Let me know what you decide!!

I will send you a PM with a link to my charts and you can help me decide my test date from there. My LP is usually 16 days, so I’m thinking 17 days from O I will test? You will see and let me know. Haha.
