@78h2o: The crosshairs should have nothing to do with your flow.  I think the reason you have them is because all of your temps are above or hitting what the coverline would be rather than staying in the same spot.  I would say you O’d on CD16, but with your drop today, that would make the second phase of your cycle really short, I’m not sure.

Keep practicing and let’s compare this month to next!

I had a 1.1 degree temp spike today!  Crazy big.  Yesterday was abnormally low for me.  It was really cold here and I think I was sleeping with my arm out of the covers.  Today was my normal post O temp of 97.7.  (This is a Clomid cycle – days 3-7.)  I O’d earlier but otherwise my temps seem to be just about the same as every other cycle.  Let’s just keep the spotting away!!!!!!!!!!!  Also I did have EWCM for the last three days, I just didn’t bother to chart it.  I was happy to have it since Clomid can dry it up, but it seem a little stickier than normal which is weird.

@JaneyD:   So exciting!  I have all fingers crossed for both of us this month – we’re at the same spot.  2 DPO today.  I’m hopeful for both of us!

@JaneyD:   I’m shooting for not stressing and worrying this month.  We’ll see how that goes πŸ˜‰  Oh and I’m definitely going to be partaking in drinking some wine in hopes that that will help too.  My manta – You’ve done what you can, now…. RELAX πŸ˜‰

I feel like our thread is lonely with Chastenet gone and Septca relaxing this month!

But @ecomaha: we seem to be on the same cycle again!  Just fyi…I have personally decided that it doesn’t really matter what the chart looks like as long as it’s over the cover line.  There are so many weird/low charts in the galleries.  Higher is definitely a good sign, but doesn’t really mean anything until the end of the cycle.  So none of our temps matter for another week or so!

How are you feeling this cycle?  Relaxed or crazy?

I know, I was starting to think I was the only one left without a BFP! πŸ™

And I completely agree with you!  I spent about 2 minutes looking at my chart today and realized there is no rhyme or reason to 1 DPO- 10, 11, 12 DPO so I might as well stop looking πŸ™‚

I’m feeling pretty relaxed.  Just trying to remind myself not to look for symptoms and that the ups and downs of my chart could mean nothing at all. I just hope I can continue it for another week and a half.  We aren’t testing til at least December 20th.  What about you?  How are you feeling?

@ecomaha: Good so far.  I’m pretty busy at school so time is going pretty fast.  I think I’ll cave at 10dpo although I prefer to test on weekends, so maybe I can hold out until next Saturyday.  That’s the night of DH’s Christmas Party so I’ll probably want to konw before I go…  Right now I actually don’t have my hopes up too much.  We will see how crazy i get next week!  It’s nice to have a short cycle for once though!  I’ve never O’d on CD14 before!

@JaneyD:  My ideal is testing on the weekend too but if it’s the difference between Tues. and Sat. I’m not sure I could wait that long πŸ™‚

I’m trying not to get my hopes up too.  To just try to put it all (TTC) on the back burner.  But you’re right, we’ll see about that come next week πŸ˜‰  I have been having a glass of wine each night, or a little less.  Maybe that is helping my crazies πŸ™‚

Sooo this is my first month charting and our second cycle. I figured I’d be able to figure it out pretty quickly and I’d feel more assured about the stages of my cycle, but it’s actually beginning to worry me. I’m only on CD8 but my temps are really high in comparison to most of the regular charts on FF. I used the tool that allows you to find charts closest to yours and a lot of them had PCOS- yikes!

I know this is hard for anyone to tell but off the cuff, is there something wrong with my chart? Should I have a lower BBT generally speaking?

@78h2o: I do NOT agree with FF.  Have you used OPKs this cycle?  I would say that you *maybe* O’ed on CD15, but also that you may not have O’ed yet.  How long have you been charting?  If you have past charts under your belt, what CD do you usually O?

@JaneyD: Thanks for thinking of me…  Embarassed

@FutureJessicaMcB: I had to use a converter tool to check your temps, but… Yeah, your temps are WAY too high unless you are running a fever (which you don’t mention).  Your lastest temp more than 100 degres F.  I tend to “run hot” and my coverline is usually right at 98.0 degrees, so I am usually about 97.6-97.9 pre-O and 98.6-98.9 post-O (that would be 36.4-36.6 pre-O and 37.0 37.2 post-O).  How are you temping???  Are you following the BBT instructions to the tee (getting at least 3 hours of sleep, not moving or turning on the light before you temp, etc.)?  If so, please, please, please go see your doctor to get your thyroid checked.

@chastenet: WOO HOO!!!  I am SO thrilled for you!!  (jumping up and down in excitement)  I am glad that my “I-don’t-give-a-F-about-TTC-and-I-like-wine” club mentality worked for you.

(I gotta say, I am especially excited because your BD pattern this month – which may not be ideal – is exactly the same as mine for this month…  swim little guys, swim!)
