@hamikay:  Thanks dear! Actually I stumbled across this website the other day, before you had posted it for someone else and I really found the information on there to be quite informing. Then after you posted it, I was like, OK, must be worth looking into a little more because Hami posted it!! You know, the little signs…lol. I’m thinking about doing the fertility cleanse next cycle and then maybe try the personal consultation?

@ScottishMrs: I’m so sorry you aren’t feeling well down there. How awful! Hope you’re feeling better this morning!

@StaceyA: Sounds like your appointment today went well! FX you won’t need the surgery! πŸ™‚

@hardtoconcentrate:  I have to admit, I kinda chuckled this morning when I went to peep at your chart! I cannot believe your flat temps! Crazy pants! If it were me, I’d use both. Can’t hurt right? I’d do old faithful first then throw the newer one in second. Maybe make another chart, input all your old temps and then start today with the temp on the newer thermom? Just so you can see the variation? So weird, but I love it!!!! πŸ™‚

@Yellow.Clover:  I love that idea.  I mean, it’ll make me even more crazy over the next few days, but I won’t lay there wondering for half an hour after I temp like I did this morning.  Anything I can do to occupy my mind during the TWW! πŸ˜‰

@hardtoconcentrate:  I’m not too shabby.  Nope, not feeling anything over here.  I don’t think I’ll O for a while.  My “normal” O range is CD19-26.  I’m on CD13.  I’d be shocked if I O’d this week.  BUT I’m still aiming for EOD timining, just in case Ms. O shows up soon πŸ™‚

@hamikay:  We just have to wait and see now if the vitex does anything…FX! And definitely very helpful and knowledgeable – it was a nice experience. πŸ˜€ Thank you for sticking around….you’re truly appreciated!

@ScottishMrs:  That really doesn’t sound good, though I’m glad you feel it’s gotten quite a bit better. If it continues you should definitely book in for a pelvic exam though. I understand why you took a HPT, the cycle I got my BFP I found BD painful for a couple of days late in the TWW and had to stop sexing with DH.

@StaceyA:  I’m glad your septate uterus seems to be on the conservative side and it shouldn’t be anything to worry about……and avoiding surgery would be AWESOME! Also…..I’m glad you’re able to take a more laid-back approach to monitoring your cycle right, it must feel amazing to be able to relinquish control like that and rely on someone else to tell you what’s going on FOR SURE! I totally want my own ultrasound machine now. It would be SO much easier to just be able to pop it on and be all “oh….I should release an egg in 3 days….better get on that!”. I guess people with regular cycles already have that though…….  😐

@hardtoconcentrate:  I know your flat temps are dumb, but I’d stick with your old thermometer and try not to read too much into it. I got the same temp the last 3 days in a row, and the same temp 2 days in a row right before that (actually, I temped 45 minutes early this morning, and when I adjusted it to normal time it came to the same time as yesterday and the day before). It’s more rare to get SIX days in a row, but I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. What you could do is start doing both therms and then just using the average between the 2 readings? At least you’re not freaking out because you didn’t get an implantation dip yet! πŸ˜‰ BAHAHAHAHAHAHA

@Yellow.Clover:  Totally…. if Hamikay says it, it MUST be good! Hence, why I ran out to get Vitex immediately after she said it worked for her! haha She’s like our TTC guru! And I think the naturo is a good idea, and it will give you another avenue to exhaust before going to the clinic for treatment. I’d still keep your referral and consultation though, just so you have a better idea about a treatment plan, options, and costs involved.

@MrsPuddingface: Thanks for checking in on me!  Not much to report, I have also been mostly stalking the thread.  Today is 7DPO so I am in the limbo period between confirmed O but not far enough to attempt to read into anything on my chart.  It’s looking quite a bit like last cycle to me so I am pretty much resigned to a BFN in a few days.  I usually get watery CM on 8DPO which is an early sign for me that AF is on her way soon so we will see if that happens tomorrow.

Things went crazy at work today, was just asked this morning if I could fill in on a business trip and present some of our group’s work so I am scrambling to make presentations and learn the ones that aren’t mine, not to mention book flights and hotels!  I suppose it’s a good distraction from TTC though, but being on my period and travelling on a business trip are not my two favorite things, especially together!

In other news, DH and I have started getting more serious about buying a bigger house.  We are leaning towards building one and are going tonight to price out one of our favorites so far.  Hopefully it will be in our budget!  We also have some other new construction communities to visit this weekend and after that hope to start making our decision.  I’m so excited to actually be getting close to making a decision, but we had hoped to be pregnant before buying a new house.  The rates are great right now, and we would like to have a big family, so we wanted to buy a single family home that we could grow into now while the rates are so good.  I am a bit concerned though that if we use a good chunk of our savings now on the house, and then in the next however many months find out we need a lot of help conceiving (IVF or adoption)  that we may not have the money it takes to do that very many times or right away.  πŸ™ So knowing we could get pregnant on our own would be a huge relief.  Unfortunately as much as I try to put TTC out of my mind, it seems to be affecting a lot of our decisions right now so we are forced to wait and see what will happen.

Good luck to everyone POAS soon, and I hope those of you waiting for O see your temp rises soon! πŸ™‚

I feel like a crazy person!!!!  I just got a call at working asking me to travel for a week… and the first thing that pops into my mind is, oh shit, is that the week I could O!?  With my last cycle, who knows, but if I could possibly be back to my normal 5-6 week cycles, then yes, that’s exactly the week I could, and I almost want to tell them I cant go just so I can be home in case.  But instead I plan on not going for a full week and just go for 3 or 4 days max so I can back home.  Can someone please tell me I’m not crazy.  Or that I am and to snap out of it.

@hardtoconcentrate:  I’m disgustingly sick atm. πŸ™ Hoping to be better enough for some babymaking this weekend, though. I’m sorry about your fight with your DH. I hate those. Mine is being super annoying and reading over my shoulder atm grrrrrrrrrr. I’m glad you worked things out! Sorry about your bad day πŸ™ My chart was extremely flat this past month. It was bizarre, but I wouldn’t worry too much. It is weird that your two thermometers have two different temps that are so different.

@MrsPuddingface:  I’ve been sick! GRR. I hate it. My right “nostro” as my daughter calls them (and I don’t correct her because it’s freaking adorable) will not unplug itself and it’s driving me bonkers! I hate having an only partially functioning nose haha. I had to take a mental health break mostly from the poas thread because no one listens to me and there are so many of them asking if they’re pregnant at 3dpo because they burped and I just couldn’t handle it lol. Most of them were pregnant and are now onto different boards, but still. OMG I think I’m going to go see if I can find some maca for my hubs…he’s so low energy because of his diabetes. Idk if it’ll mess with his diabetes stuff, but if I start him on the lowest dose it should be worth trying right? He might not notice if I put another pill in his pill boxes lol.

@pinkshoes:  I wouldn’t worry too much…there is a chance you could O, but there’s also a chance you could not o. I would BD right before and when you get home just in case.

Question to all of you bees – As I anticipated, my CM changed back from the usual creamy post-O to watery today (8DPO) which makes 3 consecutive cycles it has changed on 8DPO.  I know some women get watery CM before AF, but I expect that tends to happen a day or two before AF comes, and my luteal phase is usually 11-12 days.  If I have enough estrogen on 8DPO to produce watery CM, would I even be able to sustain a pregnancy?  Can watery CM too early after O also be a sign of low progesterone?  I never spot before AF.  I am due for my annual gyno check up in February and I’m wondering if I should make it for early in the month to see what my doctor thinks about this, or if they will just dismiss it and tell me they don’t care until I haven’t gotten pregnant after 6 months to a yr.  I can also complete my 5th cycle trying and then go for my check up at the end of Feb.  Any advice or does anyone know if watery CM at 8DPO means anything might be wrong?  Thanks!

@MrsEagleEye:  I don’t think it’s indicative of a problem.  Plus, if you google watery or egg white CM in the middle of the luteal phase, you come up with a split verdict of people who got BFPs and people who got AF.  Also, it’s not uncommon for some people to get watery CM before AF (per Dr. Google), and I haven’t seen anywhere that it indicates a problem.  So, I don’t think it’s an issue, and you may continue to have that even on the cycle where you get your BFP.  About your appointment, I scheduled my annual checkup for mid-February because that will be after I finish my 5th cycle (and in the midst of my 6th) so I’m hoping they won’t dismiss me and will actually talk to me about my concerns since I’ll be able to throw out that magic number 6 at that time.   Hope this helps and sorry you’re worried.
