@anotherbee:  Thank you.  I’ll still be around, I just need to reclaim my life (and sanity) from TTC – it’s become thought-consuming over these past months.  From what I’ve read, an LP length of 14 days with 1-2 days of spotting is very normal, so I haven’t  felt the need to contact a doctor up to this point.  And, I only spot externally the night before AF – I just know it’s there 1-2 days before AF because of my internal checks.  If I have another month where this happens, though, I will definitely ask my gyn.  This does concern me.

@Lyndzo:  Thanks, love.

@hardtoconcentrate:  Oh dear, I am so, so, SO SORRY!! Ugh!! When I saw your chart this morning, I gasped, I could not believe it. I know I say this every month, but I really thought this was it. There’s only one word for our bodies, they just plain out suck! Mine does the same to me, every month there’s a new symptom that just has me so convinced this is it. I truly believe the cycle we feel nothing, have no signs/symptoms, normal charts, etc., that will be the cycle we are KU. I can completely understand wanting to back off of the things that make you obsess more. I’ve been having a hard time with it lately, and I really think taking a more “relaxed” (Gosh I hate saying that!!) approach, really does help, at least emotionally. BIG *HUGS*

@glittermoon:  Sorry your having problems with your hubs. And your ankle – oh my, hope it’s feeling better!! At least you got your bd’ing in! πŸ™‚  GL!

@doxielove:  Thanks, hun, I appreciate it. Looks like today might be O day for you!

@Yellow.Clover:  Thank you!  Yeah, I don’t like to use the “R” word either.  It’s not that I think that’ll help me get KU, but it will help me stay sane.  These last weeks, I’ve realized that pretty much all my spare time is spent on here or doing some other TTC-related thing online.  If I found out I was pg, it’d be worth it, but when you find out you’re not, it just feels like such a waste of time. And I can’t make myself sleep right when I want to know what the next day’s temp is…so then I’m tired the whole next day and even LESS productive because of that.  It’s a vicious cycle, and I really can’t wait to break it.  This cycle was the worst because my temps were so wonky through the whole LP, so I didn’t sleep well for almost 2 weeks.  Usually, that only happens the last few days before AF.

On a side note, I’m wondering if somehow this month I did have low progestrone because that would maybe make my flat-line make more sense – progestrone is the heating hormone so maybe the temps staying steady was because there wasn’t much of that.  And then the week of spotting would be explained by that.  I don’t know, I know I’m reaching here.  This was just such a weird LP.  The only thing I did differently this cycle was I took Bromelain from 1dpo through 5dpo.  I can’t find anything that indicates that that would have an effect like this.

@hardtoconcentrate:  Vicious cycle indeed. As far as your progesterone goes…I’m not sure if that would be a sign of a deficiency. You had a nice shift in temperature. The flat temps just mean your hormones were stabilized and that’s a good thing! The spotting on the other hand would concern me, so it might be worth looking into.

@Yellow.Clover:  Yeah, I think I’m just grasping at straws at this point because this cycle was so unusual.  I have my annual in 3 weeks, so I’ll ask my gyn about it then.  Thanks for the help. πŸ™‚

@hardtoconcentrate:  Hey hun, wanted to pop in and say I’m sorry for the temp drop. We were all really keeping everything crossed for you! I totally second a charting break, even if it’s not a full on break, sometimes minimizing the charting efforts makes a huge difference. I didnt start temping this cycle until CD8 or so , only temp when it’s convenient and if I miss a day i could care less. Not checking CM, CP or anything… I’ll document it if it’s super noticable, but otherwise… meh?

Have a glass of wine, take a nice hot bath and maybe plan something fun for this week/weekend to kick off another cycles. Sorry to see the news regardless. πŸ™ XO

@StaceyA:  Thank you, I appreciate the kind words.  I’m actually really looking forward to taking charting more lightly and not obsessing over temperatures anymore.

@hardtoconcentrate:  it’s good to take a little break. I am doing OPK’s only here and there this cycle, only because apparently I find it hard to break that habit, despite ultrasounds telling me EXACTLY where I am in my cycle pre-O lol. The other things are easier to drop. And sometimes, you are just relaxed enough to have some good BD timing and not even know it! I found taking a break from the EOD routine extremely helpful too, both Darling Husband and I did.

I’ll be routing for you in Feb though my dear πŸ™‚ <3

@StaceyA:  @hardtoconcentrate:  I couldn’t agree more! I’ve actually decided to ditch the OPKs for this cycle…I need a break from obsession. I am still charting, but contemplating on stoping after I get CH’s (that’s going to be hard!), and we’re only BD’ing when the mood hits. I will admit, I did make a BD chart earlier this cycle that I’ve studied – so it’s still in the back of my mind… But, so far I feel less stressed about it this cycle! It feels great…let’s hope it lasts!

Looks like our thread is about to expire so I’ll go ahead and start a new one!
