@lovemygsp: Is it sad that my favourite smell is puppy breath?  I’m assuming the failed foster is because you’re going to adopt him/her?

@FreckledFox:  I was disillusioned after JennyRenny was wrong….but I figured you can’t say no to free πŸ˜‰ I’d forgotten all about it actually, it was a nice surprise!

@MrsHoneyC:  Honey, no sad faces!!! The one good thing about having a progesterone deficiency is that it is TREATABLE! It’s one thing you can manage with some help! It’s not completely impossible or unfathomable that you could still get pregnant with a short LP, it’s just that the odds are a little stacked against you. The great thing here is that you haven’t been trying long – you know your issues, you know what will likely need to happen to correct them. That’s HUGE so early on in the process! Some people go an entire year or more just hoping something will happen and sitting back waiting for everything to fall into their laps, but you’re being proactive and you’re working towards something. That’s a great trait! Don’t lose hope so early. As long as you’re working on it you’re ahead. I’d say go out and get some right now, but if you have testing coming up then you need to leave it as-is so you get some accurate results. You’ve got this – you just need a little help, that’s all!

@MrsPuddingface:  ooh i would say its still fun it’s the 6 hours of driving to make sure I’ll get some in my FW when I know he will be back 3 days later is what’s grinding my gears. I feel ya though, I am sure I will get to a point soon where TTC sex is getting old

@MrsPuddingface:  I worry I won’t be able to read it.  I am giving it 2 more cycles before I get something else.  I did consider putting it in my boot since they don’t check shoes, they check bra line.

@FutureFoxWife:  hmm… Good question, well for the last 4 cycles I’ve gotten my period on the morning of 9 DPO….  but I haven’t had any cramps that would lead me to believe she was on route. I woke up this morning starving!! I haven’t had much of an appetite for 2 days so that’s weird for me, and I’ve been snacking constantly. I guess that’s a bit out of the ordinary. I think if AF doesn’t show up tomorrow that would be really weird for me.

@MrsPuddingface:  xo you’re so sweet. I’ve know since I was 12 that I may never be able to get pregnant so I guess in some ways we are…. Extra proactive when it comes to understanding my cycle ( me & DH he is a charting supporter all the way! Tee hee) so when we started actually trying I realized there was an LP issue with my charts -confirmed by naturopath- she was very honest with the fact that we both saw the same issue, and she thinks that it’s smoething we can help change, which I do think I’ve seen positive results already in my chart :).

I agree we’re lucky that we know what the issue is and can work towards it vs. twiddling my thumbs wondering why month after month were not KU. I agree that I should probably leave everything along just I case this is a flop and then the dr. Can measure my levels accordingly. Silly question maybe. But…. I didn’t realize you could just got out and get something to help with progesterone…. Like a cream or something from the health food store? Haha, never heard of such a think, I just assumed you’d have to take it in pill form. πŸ™‚

@aliciapdx:  Why not wait until after work to test? I always do mine at 6 when I get home from work. It makes it easier for me to enforce a 2- or 3-hour hold. No beverages after 3 p.m., and then I have no choice but to hold it the whole commute home.

Oh, and the no-splash, no-spill trick for peeing into a receptacle, whether it’s a cup or the foil packet, is to actually place the opening against your body so  that it circles your pee-hole area. It takes the guesswork out of aiming. Or am I the only one who has been doing it the hard way most of my life? If you’re going to pee into the foil packet, peel it apart a bit along the seams and fold the two flaps back a bit so you don’t have to deal with any jagged edges against your lady bits. It is remarkably effective!

ummmm….. so trying not to freak out… decided i would test on one of the cheepies after a 3 hour hold…. which isnt ideal obviously but i was currious… well… you can tell me if i am crazy or not. Its faint.. but like… OMG i can actually see something… on the test! its hard to tell in the photo but its more clear in real life, tried to do an instigram photo to see if a filter would show the line better… Looks like if AF doesnt show again tomorrow morning i am testing!! um…. what?!>!!

oh man.. just went back to look at the test and its a smidge darker!!!!

Finished movie, now I want a home water birth and Ricki Lake to be my doula!  FI also texted me to see how I was feeling since I stayed home from work and he told me it was “babies,” (not the cold/allergies) when I told him it’s too soon (3DPO) for implantation he said his “super sperm work faster.”

@FreckledFox:  not going to lie I bawled my eyes out. And then when I went back to look it was a smidge darker….. Obviously how dark could it be!!? I only held my urine for 3 hours…. Maybe even less….. And it showed up like right away!!! ….. Okay no testing until tomorrow morning. OMG….. This will be the longest day / night ever!!!
