@MrsPuddingface:  OMG – that sounds awesome!!! I’m super jealous! Hopefully mine can be as great as yours, even though I don’t think there will be hotels and hot tubs involved!

@Yellow.Clover:  We didn’t have boa’s though…..and the boys were with us πŸ™ I’d love to do the same thing, but with just the girls.

@MrsPuddingface:  Yeah, I bought Wondfos in bulk, too, but I hated getting a BFN last month, so I’m really going to try to wait.  So, we’ll see how that works out.  If I don’t test early this month, I’m sure I’ll use the 15 HPTs at some point. πŸ˜‰  And you’re POAS date is before mine, I think, so I’ll live vicariously through you.  Laughing I seriously cannot believe I’ve been married for 6 weeks! Time just flies.  Ahh, I wish I could remember a fave SVH book!  I seriously want to go read them now!! What a great idea.

@MrsPuddingface:  HAHA!! I friggin’ loved those books!!! I think I read them all….and can’t believe you admitted that! ROFL, we should do a book club! It would be interesing to go back and reread to see what I think now!

Have you ever tried Julie Garwood? I am reading one of hers right now! She is romance, but there is also some humor! She has some contemporary, regency and Medieval books.

Love your dog too!!

@MrsJuneBee:  I haven’t read Julie Garwood – I’ll have to take a look the next time I go to the bookstore. I LOVE reading, but I can’t do much of it normally because I either can’t find the time or DH complains when I do because it means I am not paying attention to him. I mostly read in the bath because it’s the ONLY time I get to myself that’s nice and quiet – unless DH comes in and sits on the side chatting away. Right now I’m getting into Jodi Picoult (yeah, I’m like 4 years late on that train!), but I also love Jennifer Weiner books, and anything James Patterson. There are a few others in there, but I can barely keep up with new releases from my fave authors, nevermind adding the new ones in! haha PLUS – I still like to rotate my Harry Potter, Hunger Games and Millenium Trilogy books in too – re-reading books is like having dinner with an old friend, SO comfortable!
It’s a bit weird to be re-reading the Sweet Valley Twins books….they seem SO juvenile now it’s ridiculous. Even the style of speech seems weird. Also….it takes me about 2 hours to read each book – I remember them taking me a week to read at the age of 9! That was a good idea though about a book club…..maybe you should start a thread and ask every bee to give their top 5 book recommendations, with small plot summaries of each?

@MrsPuddingface:  lol, not sweet valley high! that’s too funny.  hope you are enjoying your subway and sweet valley high.  my series when i was a kid was the Baby-sitters Club.  Later I also loved Agatha Christie novels.  Now when I read them, they don’t seem as good to me anymore.  It’s like, the writing is just *okay*, often really simple.  The movies made by A&E are great, though, especially the earlier David Suchet Poirot movies.

Anyway . . . be strong O buddy! Resist the urge.  When you wake up, run to the bathroom and pee as fast as you can.  That way, your FMU is gone before you even have a chance to test it. I always have to pee really bad when I wake up, so that’s easy for me and a good strategy.  Still have yet to poahpt.

@ChuckNorris:  Okay, thank you.  So as you take things into your body, do they pass into the tissues building up the endometrium immediately?  Hmm . . .

@MrsPuddingface:  Chart is looking lovely… I vote test tomorrow! Whooo! I’m the queen of early testing though. I shoot to start at 10 DPO and usually break down at 8 DPO. We call it coke or soda here. Lmao about the fizzy lemonade and fizzy orange. I had no idea they called it that. It reminds me of that movie… “Don’t Mess With The Zohan” or whatever, where he calls it fizzy bubbly hahaha. Your dog is so cute!!!!

@Yellow.Clover:  Our birthdays are so close! I’m 11/16. Whoop whoop! November babies FTW!!! That sounds like a fabulous birthday celebration! I should be testing around my birthday, so def hoping for a birthday BFP. Not holding my breath, but def optimistic.

@CuriousOne:  I really have no idea. My personal speculation based off of what I’ve learned in my anatomy/physiology/microbiology/chemistry classes: If the substance is moves across the cell membrane easily, like alcohol (likes dissolves like) or carbon monoxide (from cigarettes), then I would think that even though we don’t technically “share” a blood supply with the growing embryo, it is still exposed to that substance since it floats freely through our cells. Other substances, like polyethylene glycol (Miralax), don’t move across membranes well, thus they stay inside the intestines (.2% absorption), thus I think would be safe during the TWW. Make sense? Was that even your question? lol. Total speculation, ZERO scientific fact behind it. I hold my breath around people who smoke because of it though. Me and my crazy theories… Y’all probably think I’m nuts haha. Well, okay, I am. But still πŸ˜‰ lol.

Started with the OPK’s finally. I have ONE left, hoping my shipment comes tomorrow so I can continue with them. We went to SF this last weekend and are going again tomorrow. Seriously we are ridiculous…this is our fourth time this month. lol. We live 4 ish hours away from SF, so they are big trips!! Since we are sharing doggy pictures πŸ˜‰ Here’s a picture of my big girl wearing her rally rag for game 2 of the World Series… Isn’t she pretty!?!!? Okay, I’m totally biased.

Ugh ladies. I am annoyed. Not only did my temp not go up, it went DOWN. WTF??? It is still above coverline so FF was nice enough to give me crosshairs, but I’m not entirely convinced. My post O temps are usually MUCH higher (97.5 ++) and we’re sitting around 97.2 today. I so want to believe that FF is right, but … hard to say. Guess I’ll just have to keep charting the next few days and see what happens. I’m really hoping it’s right, which would put me at 3DPO (although I’d be tempted to say 4DPO) and able to test next weekend sometime.

If this is right, I think our BD timing was pretty decent? Too bad it fell on those 2 days we didnt do it, but… oh well. :/

Gah. Thoughts? I was so bummed this morning looking at my temp, I didn’t even want to believe it. Trying to stay optimistic, and keep reminding myself that my charts every month have not ever really been similar to others… so maybe this one is just trying to continue the trend of throwing me for a loop. lol.

@MrsPuddingface:  Haha, I know what you mean!! DH is always complaining that my nose is stuck in a book…or a kindle for that matter πŸ™‚

I am way to unorganized right now, work, volunteering and the bee πŸ™‚ Maybe after the holidays!

@StaceyA:  I understand your frustration with low temps, like you said still above coverline though! There are so many factors that can affect temps as well.

@StaceyA:  Well…i checked your chart and you didn’t get the temp raise like you wanted, but you still got CH. WTF? Here’s hoping you get a raise tomorrow lovey! XOX

ETA: I wrote that before I saw your post above……I really don’t know what to say. It’s showing CH, but I’d be a bit leary too if my temps were still so much lower than regular after-O temps. I want to punch your ovaries for messing you around so much (but not you!)!

@CuriousOne:  My Subway was amazing, thanks!! Had a great night last night just peace and quiet and cuddling with Kevin (the dog) while reading. I resisted this morning and didn’t test.

@ChuckNorris:  I LOVE YOUR DOG! Look at that face! Fizzy bubbly!! πŸ˜‰ Also, totally jealous of your SF trips – is it as beautiful there as I’ve been led to believe!?! I didn’t test yet, and honestly don’t really think I’ll get the chance to. I had really bad period cramps last night (the kind where you almost feel nauseous because they’re so painful) that led through to this morning. They’ve dulled a little by now, but I know that feeling too well – I know what they mean. I’d say I’ll probably have started shark week by tomorrow morning. I know it’s not totally hopeless, but I think I know my body well enough to know that I’m out, and shark week is lying in wait.

@MrsJuneBee:  Does he annoy the sh!t out of you by sitting next to you and looking over your shoulder to try to read along, and then ask you questions like “so, what’s it about? what’s happening now? who’s that guy? what’s happening now?”? DH does this to me because he knows it leads to me putting the book down.

@MrsPuddingface:  Glad to hear you had a great night! Gotta love peace and quiet and cuddles from our fur babies. My big girl always makes me feel soooo much better! And shark week already??? WTFrench!?? I don’t believe you! I don’t see it in your future! ; )

Cross posting from 1+

Well, AFM, AF – Ok wait, I can’t even call her that this cycle, I think I’ve got the “Frankenstorm” in my uterus!! UGH!! – has not been this bad in over three years!! THIS is why I hate going longer than a 30 day cycle. Like really, cramps should not be this BAD! And I know Too Much Information, but I’ve messed FOUR pairs of pants. Seriously? This morning I was in tears! I came in to work an hour late so that I could soak in a hot bath long enough for they tylenol to kick in. After this morning, I almost want to say, enough is enough TTC or not, I want the LAP surgery! I can’t take it any more. Too bad I can’t stay on Clomid forever, my periods on it were great!
