Hello ladies I’m back from vacation and starting a new cycle and our first cycle trying! Very exciting and scary at the same time.

Edited my chart so its labeled with my name- here’s the new link: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Aqualov

Had moving crosshairs for my first chart- yea! FF moved them from CD 9 to CD 10  what do you all think? I also had a OPK on CD10 that was equally as dark as the control line, but my OPK on the CD9 was way darker than the control line so I counted that one as ‘true positive’ and the one on CD10 as negative. I just started using Wonfo’s, and I like them. I used CB easy digital OPK’s before and always got 2 days of +OPK’s. It’s nice to see the difference in the lines on the Wondfos.

@princessbelle:  I’m so glad that your doctor is being so proactive and seems to be on your side!! I have my fingers crossed for you that she gets things going!! 🙂

@Aqualov:  I would say cd10 makes sense since the next few temps are the ones above coverline plus the EWCM you listed was cd10. 🙂

@FreckledFox:   Thanks ladies!  I am still pretty excited about things.  I am sure in a few days the reality of the troubles I will face dealing with pcos will catch up with me but for now it’s woo hoo!

Hey ladies, I need some opinions…. FF puts my O on Saturday, CD 19.  My temp has risen a little from pre-O temps, but I’m not sure I believe it because it is such a small rise.  I was very surprised to see the CH pop up this morning.  This is my first cycle off BC, so I’m sure things are a little wonky, but I feel like usually people get much more dramatic temp shifts.  Thoughts?

ETA: I take my temp religiously, the only ones that are high pre-O were discarded because I either drank and temped late or took NyQuil and temped late.

I’m in the two week wait but very confused about how many DPO I am and whether or not FF got it right.  If any of you charters would like to give your insight, I’d greatly appreciate it.  Laughing  FF says I O’d CD 16 but I’m wondering if it is CD 21.  Before I give my chart, here’s some info that may be helpful.

    1.  I usually O on CD 19 or 20.  But, my Dr. just upped my clomid dose to 150 this cycle so perhaps that caused me to O early as FF indicates?

    2.  At the end of last cycle, my chart started getting really choppy. I wonder if my thermometer battery needs to be replaced?

    3. I’ve been sick for the last week or so with a sinus infection.  I’m sure I’m breathing with my mouth open more than normal which would lead to the lower temps after FF said I ovulated.

    4.  On the morning of CD 14, I had an ultrasound.  The tech was really nice and although this wasn’t the purpose of the ultrasound, she told me I had a dominant follie measuring at 20mm.  I have no idea about follie size.  Does that sound right for me to O on CD 16 as FF suggests or CD 21 as I am wondering?

If you read all this, thank you!  It’s frustrating not knowing where you are in your cycle.  I’m afraid that FF is wrong and I will get all upset when AF doesn’t come but in reality, I just O’d 5 days later than FF says…

@xdaydreams05x:  this was probably already answered, but that is WAY positive! Means O will happen in the next 12-48 hours so you might get your dip/rise after that!

@Treejewel19:  FF actually just did a study on the “fall back rise” — the dip a few days DPO and someone linked to it on the Bee recently. I can’t remember the results but I seem to recall it’s a good sign!

@emelee:  I would say FF looks right (for now). Your rise doesn’t have to be as huge as other bees. Everyone has their own patterns! The rise is from progesterone, so if your temp falls back down, then maybe thats something to talk to your doctor about. Right now, let’s see how it goes! Maybe tomorrow you’ll have a big rise!

@PumpkinSpiceChai:  What does your CD21 chart look overlayed onto your older charts? does the pattern match? Your pre-O temps match a O day of CD16, but post O is a bit rocky. I think the clomid could definitely cause an earlier ovulation! Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure that sleeping with your mouth open gives higher temps?

@emelee:  No problem! Ask any questions you need. Charting is hard the first month because you have no idea what to expect. Month #2 is worse because you start comparing your second chart to the first month’s chart and you can drive yourself crazy! Once you have like 3 charts it’ll get easier to see you pattern. I forget if you are TTC or TTA, if you are TTC, then I hope you don’t need to see any more charts.  😉

I am on my third day of strong positive OPKs — does that happen for anyone else? My temps haven’t really risen so I don’t know if O has actually taken place yet. Such a weird cycle! I keep trying to email myself the pics from my phone but no such luck. Will post if it ever comes through!

@FreckledFox:  Really, thank you so much!  We are TTC, and kind of suddenly moved up our timeline so I am freshly off of BC and expecting things to be wonky but it’s still a lot to figure out.  I was really hoping to O the first cycle, so if I did that’s great and I will take it!
