@nonapkns:  Implantation dip it’s not a necessary sign of pregnancy. Non pregnant women get it as well as pregnant ones, so who knows.  Some people may say is good. A lot of the charts I’ve seen of pregnant women around here don’t show an implantation dip. Keep us posted!

@Aqualov:  I admit there were a couple of people that I started to add but didn’t, because their FF wasn’t setup with their Nickname matching their wedding bee name.Embarassed It’s just too hard to keep track that way!

@candy11:  Thanks! I am waiting until Tuesday (11 DPO) to test. I have my annual exam scheduled that afternoon, so I’d like to see what my POAS results are before I go in to see the doc.

Re: Vitamin C – I wish I knew more about how the hormones and vitamins interact. It always seems to me that when you look up the effects of any particular vitamin, it’s listed as affecting everything. I myself just started taking Vitamin D again, and I’m hoping it will be the little push we need to get a BFP this month.

@nonapkns:  Whoa, look how high your temps are right now! I know it’s frustrating not knowing 100% where your O date was. Do you have good BD timing surrounding both dates? Having temps this high right now seems to me like a really, really good sign that you’re still in this, and your cramps are not necessarily AF-related. FX!

@IAmTheShadow:  That is what is bumming me out…. Since this was my first cycle trying AND temping, I was a little confused. I got a peak on OPK (so we assumed I ovulated and stopped BDing) but I had one lower temperature (but taken at the wrong time) so it took FF a while to say I ovulated. Add into the fact that I wasn’t really sure about CM because this is the first time we have actually ever finished and we used pre-seed.

If I ovulated on CD 19…. we BD 3, 2, 1, O and 1plus. And i have been having symptoms for a few days…. cramps, EXHAUSTED, nipple pain, sex dreams, heartburn. And you can see an implantation dip etc.

If I ovulated on CD22… we only BD 3,2, and 1 plus. Not the day of O or the day before :(. But then it would make sence that I am not getting a positive test because it is too early.

Or this is all in my head…… I think I will be okay if it doesnt happen this month. I always assumed it would take a few months but then reading about people on here who it happened there first cycle, i think threw me.

@candy11:  Thanks…. cramps are not bad right now but have been consistant for a few hours which is weird…. If I dont get AF or a positive, I am going to think that I made this all up in my head, and then I will truly believe in mind over body.

AF isnt expected for a few days so we will see. I may or may not try tomorrow morning. It will either be 11 DPO or 8. I know I should probably wait either way….. Now I understand why people are always saying they will pee on anything ๐Ÿ™‚

@nonapkns:  even if you ovulated on CD 22, I still think you have a pretty decent shot, given your BDing. What’s your normal LP length?

@IAmTheShadow:  I dont know how long my LP is because this is the first time charting temps… if I could go back in time I wouldnt have started temping and TTC the same month. ๐Ÿ™

But I am pretty regular in the fact that for the last 6 plus months my period is always 28 to 34 days.

So…. I wasnt going to chart today, but I woke up, entered my temp and it said I might be Triphasic or something… so I tested….. BFN! On 11DPO OR if I ovulated later, 8DPO. It didnt upset me though, I kinda prepared myself for it not to happen the first try anyway. But no indication AF is on her way yet.

Something really weird and I will post it because it might be helpful to someone else. When I was in like 4th grade I got a case of Seborrheic Dermatitis (flaky scalp). It wasnt super bad and the doctor told me to use Tar shampoo and it went away. If I am REALLY REALLY stressed (which I am not now) , I will get just a small patch but it is rare.

Two days ago I got a small patch, so I bought the shampoo yesterday. Last night when i took my hair out of a bun it was EVERYWHERE…. I have NEVER seen it like that, my DH wouldnt even come near me hahahha. Gross.

So when i went online to see what else I could do to treat it, I read it can be caused by a change in progesterone….. which happens during pregnancy. I dont think it would effect me this early… but i learned to NOT use any of the shampoo’s if you are. So if anyone ever notices more dandruff during pregnancy, it could be this and DONT use the shampoo I did. ๐Ÿ™‚

@nonapkns:  No worries! If you got lucky and hit the BFP jackpot this time around, then it won’t really matter that you don’t have a chart history to fall back on! And if not, then you’re already charting now, so you’ll have more info to work from in the future.

Interesting symptom with the flaky scalp! Sounds like it could be a good sign. And again it reminds me that pregnancy is sometimes not as glamorous as it’s made out to be. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Also, what kind of test did you use today? Was it a FRER?

@IAmTheShadow:  I have seen other bees take Vitamin D. Maybe I should look into it, although, this cycle I just want to focus on taking my prenatals and staying as healthy as possible.  11 dpo to test sounds reasonable…can’t wait for update!

@nonapkns:  Either way, I think you have great BD timing, so if you can wait maybe a few more days, you have more chances of getting a dark definite line ๐Ÿ™‚ FX for you! Sorry about the early BFN.

I am so excited bees, DH is getting his dream TV today. He’s been working so hard these past few days with two jobs that I really feel bad. I had a cold for a few days and stayed at home. I was supposed to go to school and work, but I wasn’t feeling good. Just staying home makes me feel unproductive…that’s why I think I cannot be a 100% stay at home mom. Well, maybe when we have kids it would be a different ball game.

As a side note:  I am soooo glad our housemate is leaving for a few days. Finally we get to have some alone time for some good sexy time. Too bad it’s too early that I won’t be ovulating until a few more weeks, but I can’t wait to be alone just the two of us.

Hi ladies- newbie charter here jumping in with a quick question: I normally wake up at 6:15 during the week to temp and set the alarm to keep it consistent in the weekends. Tomorrow morning though, I have to wake up at 3:30 to catch an early flight. Do I temp when I wake up or just skip the day? I’ll also likely have to skip Monday morning due to sharing a hotel room with my SIL and don’t want to wake her/provide her with knowledge that we’re TTC. What’s best? Thanks!

@Kabatchy2be:  I’d say it really depends on where you are in your cycle – are you possibly entering your fertile window/getting ready to O?  If so, I wouldn’t skip it, I’d just temp earlier and make a note of it/do the temp adjustment if you can (I think it’s a VIP feature in FF).  If you aren’t getting close to O, it shouldn’t matter too much if you skip a day.

As far as Monday, I’d just temp under the covers or something.  I’ve done that before, and it muffles it a lot.

@nonapkns:  you’re not out yet! I had cramping before I found out (and still do, it’s my uterus expanding apparently)… and I didn’t get a real bpf until like 12dpo. I didn’t get a better squinter until 14dpo.. and a positive digital came at 15 or 16dpo.

@Kabatchy2be:  I would temp when you get up and just adjust the time. It will have an open circle, but that’s better than no temp. If you’ve already ovulated this cycle then I would probably skip it though since it won’t really matter.

So, I’ve officially survived my first non-BC AF! I think it’s over because I have been AF free for 24 hours. It wasn’t bad at all. I had hardly any cramps and it was extremely light. I wonder if I still have some BC in my system and it will get worse? I can totally deal with this though if it’s like this every cycle!
