@octoberbaby:  I’m sorry about AF πŸ™  I also use the heating pads whenever I have bad cramps, and they help me a lot, I hope they work for you.

@FreckledFox:  I’ll keep it for now then. I really hope it’s a fluke, because if not, it would mean that I already ovulated and we only hit O-3 and O, not the ideal timing.

Is there any reason that causes early ovulation? I used to ovulate CD14-15, but last month I ovulated CD12, and it seems I may have ovulated on CD11 this month :/

@FreckledFox:  I’ve temped every single day since I started (just shy of 3 months) so this is the first time taking a breather.  It feels good but I hope I don’t look back on my chart at the end of the cylce wishing it was complete, lol.

@octoberbaby:  Ya I might be…they usually range from 2-5days.  This is a very weird cycle as my period was late so I really don’t know what to expect now.  She may come back later today for another day or two but I have a feeling this may be it.  LOL, Valentine’s Day didn’t even cross my mind.  Whoops.

@MrsBananas:  Oh man I forgot about Valentine’s Day. I’m def out for that! I have AF for minimum 6 days usually. Rawr! Oh well. I admit I do wish my charts were complete. I don’t like skipping more than 2 days, but it usually doesnt affect your info unless you are around O or in the TWW.

@Turtle83:  I would say LACK of stress? Or… are you taking any new supplements? Maybe your doctor being so helpful and proactive put you at ease? Or it’s a fluke temp! 0-3, and O is still good!!

@FreckledFox:  So for next cycle.. I know to wait until my LP is up (give or take a day or 2) before testing and getting excited? Is that how it works?

    View original reply
@Turtle83:  Thank you, I will go buy some now. Something about heat on my belly sounds very comforting..

@MrsBananas:  Ya last cycle was weird for me too, longer cycle caused excitement for nothing..

Are you ladies planning anything special for Vday for your DH? I’d like to do something special for him, he’s been incredible about this whole TTC/Charting thing

@FreckledFox:  My thoughts exactly on when to skip a day or two.  May as well enjoy the sleep while I can! As for V-day, I work part time in a restaurant, so we won’t even get to spend the evening together, so even tho AF wil be gone I doubt we’ll capitalize on it πŸ™

@octoberbaby:  Nothing planned for Valentine’s Day as it just isn’t a big day for us but I did get DH a really sweet card.  It said something alongs the lines of “all the things you do for us, I notice.”  Just a simple way of saying thanks and I love you.

@FreckledFox: I’m now taking vitamin D; we live in the Seattle area, so we barely get any sunlight for 8 months out of the year. I should have been taking them since November, but I kept forgetting to buy them.

I was just wondering if the fact that I’m now ovulating earlier is a sign of bad quality eggs. Since the RE told us that the most likely reason for the miscarriages were low quality eggs :/

@octoberbaby:  Yup, pretty much! If yout temp is still up (or above your coverline) at the very end of your LP, or past it, then it could mean pregnancy. There are exceptions to that rule, like if your O date is in question, or if you get a rise before AF comes. Mine LP is 14-15 days but at 12DPO it starts to come down, so when I’m TTC, I’ll probably test on 12DPO because if my temp is still up past that point, I’ll know something is up. πŸ™‚ Literally!

@MrsBananas:  Aww that card sounds so nice.  πŸ™‚

We’re trying to figure out what to do right now actually. Cook dinner? Go out? Where? What day? Since the weather is going to be bad.. again. I want to get my DH something. I think I’ll write him an old fashioned love note.  πŸ™‚

@Turtle83:  I don’t know what causes “bad quality eggs”. I’m not sure if when you ovulate has anything to do with it. I would assume if you release an egg and it sits for a long time, it could not be great.. but I don’t really know about early ovulation. I started taking Vitmain D to regulate my cycles. I have been O-ing earlier these past few months as well! Maybe Vitamin D works! (I was O-ing CD22-26, now CD15-18)

    @MrsBananas:  That’s sweet, I’ll definitely get him a card.

@FreckledFox:  Good to know about LP.. I’ll probably bug you later this cycle for more info lol

I like the love note idea.. A couple of years ago I had printed this top 10 things I love about you and had written a line for each thing and had stuck it on the front door so he saw it only when he left that morning.. He loved it and carried it in his wallet for a year until it tore or something

@FreckledFox:  Maybe Vitamin D works that way! πŸ™‚  I need to take it, since December through January/February, it is dark when I get to work and dark when I leave work, and since I work inside a factory, there are no windows, so for sure I need Vitamin D.

@MrsBananas:  Aww the card sound lovely! πŸ™‚

@octoberbaby:  I’m not getting DH anything, he hates V-day, but he knows I do want to get a card and chocolates, so he will get me those. He will also be cooking a nice dinner, but he loves cooking. And we will be getting some special treats and toys for our dog.

@Turtle83:  So lucky that your DH cooks for you! I do all the cooking at home, DH will make himself the occasional sandwich but that’s about it πŸ™

@octoberbaby:  Feel free to bug away! I’ll be happy to answer anything I can!  I love the Top Ten list! I might have to steal that.  πŸ™‚

@Turtle83:  I don’t work in a factory, but I feel like I do sometimes. My doctor recommended D to me, (he said all women should take it anyay) but I didnt start taking it until I read about cyce regulation too.  πŸ™‚ Bonus!

@Turtle83:  I also like the idea of getting something for your dog.. maybe I will do that too. However I used to get him these real bones with dried up meat on it and he looooved them but he got sick off of them so no more (he had to get antibiotics because he had a splinter in his stomach) then I got him a deer antler because apparently they just dissolve in their stomachs but he wasn’t so excited about that… not much taste it seems like.. and toys he destroys… oye vey…
