@NonannaS:  My sister claims salt helps her cramping. <shrug!> Dark chocolate and heat are my miracle medicines. πŸ™‚ oooh Sake bombs!!  πŸ™‚ Are you going to test? 9DPO is really early, but it could give you peace of mind to see a negative if you are planning to go out!

@Turtle83:  My DH loves to cook, but I usually do most nights. When he does cook, he’ll make something more extraordinary then my pasta or chicken, haha. πŸ™‚

@NonannaS:  I love diet coke! I cut it out of my diet (and all artificial sweetned stuff) a while ago, but sometimes i CRAVE it!  And aww your DH is so sweet.  πŸ™‚

@Christy42213:  I’m so sorry that you were dealt this news.  πŸ™ I will say though, there are many ladies who were not ovulating at all, and then went on Clomid or another medicine and got a BFP on that first cycle or soon after. I know that PCOS makes it difficult though. We’re here for you need to vent. I know this can’t be easy but you WILLLLLL get your baby!!  Your doctor will advise you what to do next and you’ll get there!! Are you seeing your Gyno? Or do you have a referral for an RE?

@NonannaS:  Also, are you 100% sure on your O date? If this is indeed AF, then your O date has to be wrong! Your LP shouldnt change that dramatically. Maybe this is extra implantation bleeding…

@Christy42213:  I’m so sorry to hear that! It really is awful to have your reality shook up like that. But please, please don’t get too down on yourself. One you don’t have the blood test results yet, right? So you dont know for sure. Second, I just want to tell you that the October Mamas board. has THREE babies that were conceived with the FIRST round of clomoid. Ido nt know about you, but I think that is really amazing. You definitely still have hope. Hugs

@Christy42213:  I’m really sorry you are feeling this but to be honest I would probably feel the same. I do think that pills messed up my body in so many ways and I am probably not even aware of all the repercussions yet but if there is a chance that I would still be able to conceive with the help of medication I wouldn’t hesitate. I know it’s unfair, I know it hurts but when you do conceive and get to hold your baby for the first time, the way he came into this world won’t matter. We’re always here for support.. please dont suffer in silence.

    Hi ladies,

I am super confused right now, and am hoping you can help. DH and I are TTC and haven’t had any luck yet (this is cycle 5). I know I have PCOS, but I also know that I ovulate (with a slightly irregular/longer cycle). I have been charting for the past 6 cycles and I always have EWCM, usually 2 days of positive OPKs, followed by a temp rise and then my period 12-14 days later. I do have a lot of spotting, which is a concern.

This month we started working with a fertility clinic and are doing cycle monitoring, so I go in every morning for bloodwork and ultrasound. It has been a really long, wonky cycle (just my luck!) – I usually O around CD17-20 but this month I was very late. Finally, the clinic told me that I O’d yesterday. They based this on a dominant follicle (1.9cm) on my right ovary and a drop in my estrogen levels (573 to 294). This seemed to line up with my own charting, as I was on my second day of positive OPKs (which has historically been the day FF tells me I ovulate). So I went to bed feeling reassured that my own charting was lining up with the clinic’s cycle monitoring and expected to see a temp rise today. Except it never came. My temp was the exact same (actually .01C lower) as yesterdays. I took my temp at the same time, and always try to be as accurate as possible. So now I have no idea whats going on, and why I didn’t have a temp rise if the clinic confirmed that I O’d yesterday.

Any thoughts??? I feel a bit stressed out and am trying to restrain myself from calling the clinic and bombarding them with questions πŸ™

@Christy42213:  I am very sorry to hear about your test results.  We are here for support!  I too feel that medication (BCP) are to blame for my current issues (no period)

I have a doctors appt tonight to discuss my blood test results and I have to prepare myself that the results might not be good (PCOS)

I am so upset about my doctors appointment today that I got into a fender bender this morning.  Lucky no one was hurt and there is only some bumper damage on the other persons car!  I blame hormones!

@Christy42213:  I just wanted to say I am sorry about your recent PCOS diagnosis. I have PCOS too, so I know how difficult it can be. Like you, I do not have any of the well-known symptoms and don’t fit the typical profile. I am a very healthy weight, with no acne, hair growth, or other common symptoms. My doctor has told me that PCOS is a continuum and that it can really range in severity. Hopefully you have a mild case and will be able to get your BFP without much intervention. I guess I don’t have much to add, except for that I am sorry and you’re not alone!

@Turtle83:  Needed? About 3… preferred? Anything higher.  πŸ™‚ According to FF and TCOYF.

@PeachBee:  Maybe your follicle didn’t burst yet? Or you might take a day or two to rise? I know that stress can delay ovulation. maybe the fact that they told you made you anxious enough to push it? Doubtful, but I really have no idea. I’m sorry, that is the worst. Expecting it and then nothing.  :/  When do you go back? Do you have a Chart to share? It would help to see a visual?

@FreckledFox:  I seriously don’t know what is going on. I am not due to go back for 7 days, at which point they are doing bw to check my 7DPO progesterone levels. (although now I am worried that I won’t even be 7DPO, since my charting isn’t showing ovulation). I have done some reading online and it seems like some people say they have a delayed rise, so they get their rise 2 days + after ovulation. I guess it could be that, but it just seems weird since I don’t hink I have ever had a delayed rise before. This whole cycle has been so weird! It’s very frustrating that the cycle when we decide to do monitoring acts up. Anyways, here is a link to my long confusing chart. Clearly there is no rise at all yet, and they said I O’d yesterday.

PS – the reason there are a few days of temps missing is because I was sick with a fever and my temps were ridiculously high because of that.

I did this whole charting thing with Baby #1 and now I’m back at it again!

My thermometer went on the fritz after falling off my nightstand a few too many times, so I’m currently waiting for Fairhaven Health to send my replacement. I have comically long cycles and we are currently TTA . . . or I guess just waiting until my next cycle starts so we can try furrealz.

Here’s a link to my very ugly, awful chart. Y’all, it is HARD to temp at the same time every day with an infant. How am I supposed to temp at 4:30 when I was up not 30 minutes ago rubbing my baby’s back? I’m hoping that once I get my new thermometer and I start a new cycle, I can do better and rely on my husband more.

Do you think it’s even worth temping the rest of this cycle? Do you think I’ve already Oed? My last cycle was over 90 days.

@Christy42213: I’m so sorry about your ultrasound results and that you’re feeling this way. I totally understand and I would probably feel the same way, but there is nothing wrong with using medication/intervention, please don’t feel bad about it. I was told early this week by an RE that IVF may be our only option, if that ends up being the case, we will deal with it. Life isn’t fair, I know a lot of unhealthy people that get pregnant easily and healthy people that have trouble conceiving, it’s just the way it is. Please keep us updated on your blood results and use this board to vent, we’re here to support you. Sending you lots of positive thoughts and virtual hugs

AFM if my temperature stays up tomorrow, I will get my CH and I ovulated on CD11. I will then call my OB and ask if they can check my progesterone at 7 DPO, I keep seeing online that is the best day to check the progesterone level.
