@Christy42213:  People don’t usually talk about how they conceive. Actually I just found out it took my sister over a year to conceive her daughter (who is now 3) and I had no idea! Maybe it’s considered taboo to ask or something I don’t know but I wish more people talked about it so we could all be more informed going into this. I think sex-ed classes need to be completed re-vamped but maybe that’s a post for another time.

Personally I think that right now you were hit with a ton of bricks and maybe you need some time to mull it over and let it sink in. Just because you can’t reproduce without the help of medication does NOT mean you’ve been chosen as unfit to become a mother. NOT AT ALL..

I wish there is something I could say to help with the pain you are feeling, I know for me TTC/possible infertility is the hardest thing I’ve ever been through emotionally. It’s constantly up and down. Just know you are not alone and we are all here to help in any way. *big big hug*

@candy11:  I have been doing cycle monitoring this entire cycle. So lots of blood work and ultrasounds … over the last week, the bw and ultrasounds have been almost every day. Yesterday, they said I had ovulated based on my bw and ultrasound – I don’t know all of the results, but I know they were measuring the size of the follicle and my uterine lining on ultrasound, and measuring estrogen, LH, and progesterone on bw. They said my estrogen had gone from 573 to 294 yesterday, which showed ovulation (in combination with the rest of my test results).

@NonannaS:  Oh that’s weird.. Low progesterone sounds like it could be it but who knows.. are you going to a dr soon? Maybe that’s something you could bring up?

@NonannaS: I see it. Now try to increase your temp on CD18 a bit more like for 0.1 degree to see what happens.

@Christy42213: That’s why we are here to support each other. Without this board I would have gone crazy waiting to NTNP and now to get BFP. I don’t talk to my mom about all the little details. She thinks we are still not 100% trying, which in a way she is correct. She is very supportive, but I don’t want her to worry too much. Maybe if we have a hard time conceiving I’ll share that with her.

@octoberbaby:  Sadly I didn’t get wine or chocolate. I went to my parents house to eat dinner and I felt like crap so we left early. I was SO not feeling wine and we couldnt stop for chocolate on the way home either. πŸ™ Double fail. DH owes me some chocolates… hopefully tomorrow. πŸ˜‰  And I hope you get your wine and Olives soon!!

@PeachBee:  I guess that would mean you had your LH surge, but maybe you didn’t release the egg yet? Or maybe today? Progesterone is what causes the temp rise, so maybe your body isn’t at that stage yet? Your chart doesn’t look abnormal to me (minus the earlier OPK throwing you off). If you get a temp rise tomorrow, I wouldn’t be surprised! If the doctor says you O-ed yesterday, then I guess go back on her 7DPO, and see what she says. She’ll be able to tell you if you have low progesterone, or noe or if you have or haven’t O-ed. I’m sorry… not having answers is the worst feeling.  :/

@daybyday:  Hi there! I added you on FF. Congrats on your little one. πŸ™‚ How old is he/she? It’s gotta be difficult to temp with an infant for sure. I hope your DH can help! You may have O-ed around CD30, but it’s hard to tell! I would keep trying. At the very least it could help predict AF!

@Turtle83:  Your chart looks pretty good for a CD11 O date. That is mighty early, but not unheard of! I hope your 7DPO bloodwork comes back great! Do they do a blood pregnancy test while you are there?

@MrsBananas:  I’m glad you are feeling good about your results!! FX that everything is great and you only have your DHs MFI to deal with.

@PeachBee:  Wow it sounds like they should have gotten your O date correct since they are the experts. The other thing too could be that your temps are slowly rising, and maybe “just maybe” you ovulated yesterday like they are saying. FX you did!

@NonannaS: True, low progesterone can cause a shorter LP and spotting before AF. Have you had it checked?

@FreckledFox:  Oh too bad! I’m leaving work in a couple minutes and I’m going to buy a bottle.. or two.. ha! Also, I ordered a Dyson vacuum and it’s arrived! I really can’t wait to go home and vacuum! It also has a pet groomer on it, I will try it on him but I think it’ll freak him out more than anything lol

@candy11:  Nope… it still pushes my cycle to O two days later. Plus that doesnt line up with all the other signs……

I am stuck on this stupid cruise ship for two more months… which I guess isnt THAT bad because we have only been trying for two cycles. But I am already driving myself nuts!

At a pre-TTC consult with the doctor, what do they do? I dont have a doctor in Ft. Lauderdale (and we are only there 3 mondays in a month). I wonder if I can just make an appoitment somewhere and got blood work done?

@candy11:  No I havent had it tested… I just read that you have to get it tested on a certain cycle date. That will never work for us. I can always get Vitex or pregersterone cream. And now I am reading that Maca root regulates estrogen which in turn can regulate progesterone…. I am driving myself crazy!

@Christy42213:  I am so sorry. I’m sorry that there’s nothing right not that can take away the hurt you’re freeling. I wish I could do something to make you feel better. Even though we’re complete strangers, my heart breaks for you. I hope you find peace soon and find the method that works for you. Have you considered acupunture and/or Maya abdominal massage? Some women swear by it… Please take care… best wishes.

@Christy42213:   I *think* that your OBGYN has to refer you to an RE? I’m unsure. I think the first step since its so simple is a SA for your DH. It’s probably the least invasive (but I’m sure pretty embarassing to some men).I guess anything has draw backs but I personally can name 4 bees who used Clomid and have either given birth to one baby, or are currently carrying one healthy baby. I’m not your doctor, so I can’t tell you what to do, haha. Just letting you know. Knowing the risks is very important!

@octoberbaby:  I didn’t realize until I started talking to my mom a few weeks ago that she struggled with my sister for 3 years, and my brother for 5 years. I was the “conceived earlier than we expected” baby. It was really hard to bring that up. My sister wants kids more than anything, I really hope she doesn’t have trouble. That scares me.. if I could and she can’t. :/

@NonannaS:  I’ll echo others and say low progesterone could be an issue, but your temps are so high that I wouldn’t jump to it immediately! I still don’t think you are out until AF shows. Any red bleeding?

Sorry if I didn’t respond to everyone that wrote. My computer is freaking out and my hands are numb from shoveling snow. πŸ˜‰

@octoberbaby:  So jealous!! I just have a regular ol’ vacuum. Nothing fancy, but OH boy I’d love a dyson.  πŸ™‚  Let me know how much you LOVE it! Hehe. I had an Elderflower Hard Cider today. Not quite wine, but I needed something!  πŸ™‚ My DH just said that I could pick out some chocolates tomorrow before V-day dinner from the grocery store. Soooo romantic. πŸ™‚ I wouldnt have it any other way. I like being able to pick haha!

@FreckledFox:  No red, and now it has stopped just brown this morning. But today I have my typical cramps that I get before AF. Thanks for pointing the temp thing out. I didnt think about that. I know I shouldnt be diagnosing myself but it is hard not to.

@NonannaS:  No red bleeding is a good thing for sure! And I would probably assume that not everyone with low progesterone has low temps. I’m the queen of self diagnosis, it’s definitely not a good thing. I’m not a doctor, but I think that’s a symptom. Are you going to test at all soon? This has me on the edge of my seat!
