    Happy Valentine’s Day, charters!

AFM, I’m confused. Most signs point to AF arriving early next week. My only glimmer (and this is a real stretch) is that I tested on a Wondfo on Weds AM and when I came back after work (10 hours later) there was a shadow of a second line. Maybe evap? I’m not sure. All of the other sticks I’ve peed on have been stark white.

Weds I was having my annual exam with my OB/GYN and he did some blood work because I’ve had some previously wonky hormones. I asked for a pregnancy test too. Got the call this morning that all of my levels were normal (thank goodness!) and that the pregnancy test was negative.

I’m 13DPO and didn’t test today because I was expecting the doc to call. I will probably test with Wondfos the next two days; FF has my official test date as Monday.

ALSO, my doc told me that I should try for about 8 or 9 months before we would explore any issues related to infertility, because I have had some irregular periods in the past. He also told me to take a more laid back approach — don’t temp, don’t chart, have intercourse on a regular basis. He also told me that the supplements I was taking weren’t really necessary except for the prenatals. I was surprised to hear that.

That said, if AF arrives on Sunday/Monday, I’ll be taking a break from charting but maybe checking in from time to time. I think we might TTA the next two cycles just because the timing would be bad for us.

    Have a great weekend, everyone.

@mrspitcher8:  Hmm… I figured that with wonky cycles the doctor would be a bit more understanding of the need for data. The laid back approach is worth trying if you can do it. I honestly don’t think I could. I’d be hiding in the closet with my thermometer…  Best of luck to you, and always feel free to pop in!

@FreckledFox:  I thought so too. He’s old school, I think. My guess is that since I’m ovulating every cycle and timing intercourse well, he just wants me to continue consistent intercourse. He told me when he took my IUD out last year it will take at least six months to get pregnant, so I think he’s abiding by that rule of thumb. Thanks for the encouraging words.

@MrsBananas: Sorry for the huge delay. Got home late and had to cook for DH for his dinner break. Now that he is gone, I can post!

First pic is this morning’s test. In person, I could see something super faint.

This one is from this evening! Sorry for the big pics.

@NonannaS: Happy Valentine’s to you and all other bees. I had a super busy day at school plus it sucks that DH works all day literally all day. Today is especially a busy day for him. Now, I get to be home with my two cats. My housemate went out, so I’ll just pass the time online and texting ๐Ÿ™‚ Maybe I’ll continue watching CSI. I’m on the seventh season Wink
