Bees, I have probably a silly and a bit nuatric question!! We have been ttc since October (goodness, where have the months gone and why is my tummy still not round?) But I have been charting for the past 4 cycles. After ovulation my temps rise and fall about the same DPO… I am only 5dpo and it dipped sligthly (not under the coverline, just by a few tenths of a degree), like it does every cycle… and my crazy question is…. when you finally get your BFP, does/did your chart look different (in terms of temperature rising)???? I can’t help but feel my heart sink a bit when it looks exactly like last months cycle which brough the dreaded flow…

@Sbee82: TO be honest, I couldnt deal with charting and analzying and obsessing everyday so I just went out and bought ovulation predictor tests (the digital ones with the definitive happy face) and those have worked great (so far).

Your chart will look the same every month until about 8-10DPO so you shouldn’t let it get to you. The 5dpo dip has something to do with estrogen resurgence from what I have read so it’s totally normal. Would you happen to have a chart to share?
If you check out the pregnancy anouncement thread you’ll notice many ladies have uneventful BFP charts so I don’t think you should get so hung up on what it looks like. Only a small fraction of women get implantation bleeding/dips or a triphasic chart.
