This is my first cycle charting. I am curious as for when to mark “light” vs spotting based on my temps.
So, yesterday my temp was still elevated. I started spotting later in the afternoon, (close to a light period). Then, this morning is full on AF and my temp dropped back down below the line. My question is: should I mark AF yesterday or today? I want to be sure my chart will start on the appropriate day so I can see if my body is consistent from last month to this month.

Do CD1 as today. I believe even if you started full AF yesterday that if it was later enough in the day (like after 5pm) you would still mark CD 1 as today.

I have read something similar in ‘Taking Charge of your Fertility’ (TCYF). Just the timing there was 6:00 PM. So bee is pretty close with her 5:00 PM. I think the TCYF mentioned the timing in reference to when to have intercourse. And that is, to try to have it before 6:00 PM on ovulation day.
