You girls were amazing the first time around in helping me with OPK’s and charting and I was hoping you might have some advice the 2nd time around.
Just a little backstory, I have endometriosis, one working ovary, and had to have the majority of my cervix removed years back. So basically my ovulation is all over the place. My cycles are anywhere from 28-60 days and in charting (using temps) I learned that I only O’d every couple months.
I was miserable using OPK’s because drinking and holding your pee for hours is very painful when you have a bladder disorder (have to go off meds for TTC). I did it but never got a positive in the course of a year. But I found that charting temps really worked for me. However I know have a 10 month old who does sleep through the night but could wake me for something as simple as she can’t find her binkie. She usually gets up at 5:30 so I have been setting my alarm for 5am and taking my temp. But every once in a while (3x this week) she woke up at 4am and fussed trying to get herself to sleep or couldn’t find her binkie. This has thrown my charts completely off and I’m not sure if there is anyway to work around this. Using cervical position as a tool doesn’t work for me due to the damage and my CM never seems to line up so that’s out the window too.
Does anyone have any advice? I would like to know if and when I ovulated and therefore have an idea of a TWW and know when to expect my period. I would like to avoid just taking pregnancy tests evey week because I have no clue when to expect my period or if I’m late. Also if I have events such as wedding, since I don’t want to drink after conception, can I have a glass of champagne or will I just have to make excuses for a long time.
