Looking for feedback and opinions – I have PCOS and am on metformin. Up until this morning, I thought that that I haven’t ovulated yet until FF gave me dotted CH.
MY last cycle was 41days (the one bfore that was over 100 days) so I wasn’t expecting to ovulate so soon. I didn’t start taking OPKs until CD15 because I didn’t think that I would ovulate that early. I have taken them everyday except 1 since CD15 and they all have been negative. I even bought the clearblue smiley kind to avoid having to interpert the lines. Anyone have any suggestions? Think I ovulated? I do not have any symptoms at all.

Gosh I don’t know what made them pick that O date…I guess it does look like there was a general shift in temperatures from the low to higher around that point, but it just doesn’t appear conclusive at all! Especially with no fertile CM or positive OPK. I’m confused for you, but in general I know that FF has tens if not hundreds of thousands of charts and sets of data to use to interpret charts and O dates.

I really don’t know? I guess if you get AF soon then FF was right, but the only reason I could see setting an O date is because the temps afterwards are all above the set coverline, I don’t really see a temp shift…hmm.

@katie395: It’s hard to tell, there is no clear shift in temperature. Have you consider taking a pregnancy test? You can also wait for AF. FX you get BFP 🙂

Honestly, I would guess no. I know every woman is different, but those don’t look like post-O temps to me. That’s all within my pre-O range – after ovulation my temps are up over 98.

@katie395: Based on your cycles before and the drop today, I now think ff may have been right…yea for a normal length cycle! I hope next month is short (an ovulatory) too. Havre you changed anything that might cause this?
