I need some advice regarding some white sapphires. I am planning to buy either a White Sapphire or a Forever Brilliant Moissanite (Not sure yet). I managed to easily tell the difference between a regular Moissanite and a FB one. However I had no such luck with White Sapphires. I managed to find some White Sapphires in stores for literally less than $150, but then I heard about the “Chatham White Sapphires” being so good and all. So here is my questions:
Is the Chatham White Sapphire ($400+) is really that different from other lab grown White Sapphire ($150-)? Is it really that significant like the regular Moissanite vs FB Moissanite?

I have a ring with a 1ct natural white sapphire. It looked great when I bought it (in Sri Lanka) but it always looks cloudy when I wear it as it needs cleaning constantly. I have another ring with tiny 0.1ct white natural sapphires as a halo around a tourmaline and they loook fine.
I think since the FB moissys have such a good track record from so many bees, I’d be getting one of them. Best of luck with your decision 🙂

eduardbirkaya: I had initally thought about getting a white sapphire, but ended up with a FB Moissanite. When I looked at a white sapphire I wasn’t too impressed. It looked like a piece of glass and really had no sparkle. So I ended up ordering a FB Moissanite and I am so happy that I did. It is beautiful, sparkles like crazy and very affordable.
