@feircefairy: It might be helpful if you gave more information about where the wedding is going to be (i.e. city) and posted in that location’s board.

 

As for general ideas, you could look into community centers, public parks, or maybe your local church if they also have a reception room.

I would look outside the box of a “reception hall”. I would look for a place where you can do the ceremony and reception in the same space. Maybe look at your area’s parks and pavilions. We are getting married in a renovated historical property that is owned by the city’s parks and rec department. We can bring in our own food/alcohol and it is very reasonably priced.
