I am looking for nice and inexpensive envelopes for our STD cards. They are approximately 4×6 but I’m going to opt for slightly larger envelopes to make sure they fit.
Also, I am debating between overnightprint.com or vistaprint.com? Has anyone recently used either and have opinions about the quality and service?
Thanks!

I wish the printing companies had a pearl paper 🙂

You could also do an A6 – it’s 4 3/4" x 6 1/2".
Paper-Source has really nice pearl envelopes. Check out the Stardream Quartz:

I have never heard of overnightprint.com but have used vistaprint.com multiple times in the past. I can’t say much about their pre-designed items because I’ve never used them but I will say that as long as you upload a high-res/high-quality image for a customized piece, it turns out great. I designed my niece’s birth announcement and used VistaPrint to produce them, along with multiple invitations and postcards for work and have been happy with their quality. Good luck!

Ladies: I have a great one for you that I totally forgot about (and completely beats the others in pricing): gotprint.com. It cost me $25 total for 100. If you live in LA, you can pick them up and not pay for the shipping fee.

I had a great experience with Vistaprint. I accidentally forgot to get my photo printed as glossy, so the matte format came out very grainy. When I called to see if there was anything we could do, they credited my account the full amount and I was able to reorder the glossy pictures for free! I was really impressed that they helped me out even though it was basically my fault that the original quality was less than perfect. Also, they are always having crazy deals, so make sure you sign up for their email alerts.

have you checked xpedx? they have stores all over the US. They’re like office supplies but in bulk. That’s where I bought a ton of my envelopes and paper supplies for super cheap. The have a HUGE selection too with many different types of envelopes in a lot of sizes and colors to choose from.
