I’ve never used it but I know people who have.  They find a good promotion thats running and book it.  I usually use Expedia for all my travels.  I’ve had no issues and always liked the price.

eta: I should add that I used expedia about 4 times for caribbean travel, once for europe, and several times for domestic.

@MrsDrRose612: we used them for our honeymoon to Couples Sans Souci in Jamaica and it was a really good experience. We got a good deal on the price and had travel insurance and hurricane insurance. It was really easy to book through them and we had no issues!

@MrsDrRose612: I meant to tell you,  I think CC doesn’t include taxes and fees until the end or soemthing.  Or maybe because I always have to pay more to change the airport since I always get things for miami but I’m in philly.  Wherever is cheaper has my vote =P

@MrsDrRose612: our deal did include airfare and we booked about 7 months in advance. Our resort was adults only all inclusive. We paid about $2700 total.

I booked through them we didnt go on the honeymoon yet but I am not concerned at all because I know several people that have used them in the past. I travel alot and usually book direct through the resort because I often find better prices but this time I could not pass up the deal CC had. We booked months ago and our honeymoon is March 2012.  We are going to secrets montego bay jamaica and its adults only woohoo.. I actually spoke on the phone with the rep at cheap carribean several times to go over everything and she was awesome. If you find a great deal I defintiely recommend it. I did stay in Punta Cana previously and booked directly through the resort it was called Excellence.. I highly recommend that if your thinking dominican.. its couples only and gorgeous

Cheap & Carribbean are not two words i would usually use in the same sentance.

But maybe being closer in the US  you can get a better deal than i could from the UK?

We booked with them for our honeymoon to Mexico as well as the trip mate insurance. We ended up having a disaster of a honeymoon and were unable to get in to Mexico and had to fly home. Cheap Carribean was easy to work with during the process of seeking a refund, however their insurance that they sold on the website (tripmate) was a NIGHTMARE to deal with. Cheap Carribean ended up giving us credit for about a 1/5 of what we paid which is somewhat uncommon because the refund is supposed to come through tripmate. Anyway, we have to use the credit by April or we lose it. We will probably book with CC again but will NEVER book through tripmate for full insurance. It appears shortly after our honeymoon disaster they switched companies they handle insurance through. Anyway, all that to say CC was good just be careful booking the insurance they sell! I would look elsewhere for trip insurance. 🙂
