We cannot afford a videographer. We are barely affording a photographer and only because she’s a friend…
However, I do want some video coverage. I am trying to figure out how to get the best quality basic video for the least amount of money and I’d love advice.
For Christmas I bought my 13 year old son a Kodak ZX1 “Pocket cam”. It was around $80. It seems to get decent video in good light and he has a little tripod.. does this sound like it will be good enough? Should I enlist a family member to record or use a tripod?
Or should I invest a little in a better camera? If so, what? I’m pretty clueless; I got my son that camera so he could make videos for YouTube… and my knowledge of cameras is limited to what I like/prefer for digital stills for my ebay sales stuff.
How can I get the best amateur video of the ceremony for the least amount of money?
