My fiancé and I want to honeymoon somewhere nice but not too costly, with all the wedding expenses we really won’t have too much extra money. I would like to go somewhere where everything is included to cut costs of paying for food and activities. Any bees have any ideas for me? I would like to go somewhere with a nice beach and my fiancé loves golf so he would be pretty happy if there were golf courses near by. We live in Michigan By The Way. Thanks!

What’s your budget? Are you interested in staying in the US or traveling to another country? If you are interested in something outside of the US, check out http://www.cheapcaribbean.com/ and look at the all-inclusives. They cover your hotel, drinks, meals, and a lot of on site activities. You can add on transportation to and from the airport and some excursions if you like. There are tons of amazing inclusives in Mexico which are often less expensive, but I think this will also depend on what time of year you go.
Karisma Hotels has a lot of amazing properties. I stayed at Azul Beach in Riviera Maya 2 summers ago with my Fiance (then just SO) and honestly it was so amazing, it was like a honeymoon. There were cabana’s by the beach and you just told the desk at the beach to reserve one for you the day before and then BAM it’s yours. Bringing drinks and snacks to you – yes!
I just googled Mexico all-inclusive resorts golf and found the Moon Palace in Cancun http://www.moonpalacecancun.com/en-us/offers?gclid=Cj0KEQiAt9vEBRDQmPSow-q5gs8BEiQAaWSEDuehCGjqKkFA0R9owvvlw8-E-SFvxoswD_vW4PGDTWoaAu7r8P8HAQ I met a family who was staying there while we traveled together on an excursion. I believe that hotel chain has a few other hotels that you can travel to and use their pool/beach, and probably some other services at the other hotels. We wanted something a lot smaller and intimate, which we had at Azul Beach in Riviera Maya.

One sure fire way to lower the costs is DON’T USE THE PHRASE HONEYMOON!
As soon as a booking agent/hotel or resort hear that word the tarrif is immediately increased.
Say instead – “a much needed vacation”

Can you give us an idea on your budget? Cruises are my favorite cheap honeymoon option since all dining, entertainment, and travel are included (drinks and shore excursions included), but it still can be pricey depending on what you are looking to spend. xoxo
