so i’m thinking the cheapest way to go is to have my invites printed and then buy my own pocketfolds…thoughts???
Anyone have a source for cheap pocketfolds?
this post is now out of date from a year ago…the BLUEARGYLE.COM pocketfolds that were more like 50 cents each are now 75 cents. http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/where-to-get-cheap-pocket-fold-envelpes
Any other invite tips?
Really looking for a way to coordinate art for invites, programs, placecards.

thats where i got all my stuff….. But ur looking at like 69 to 89 cents or something.. but depending on ur colors you can trya nd get the clearnace ones…. I watched them, and then the white went on clearance to make a new style… and I bought more then I needed just in case I make a mistake… and slowly from there I have bought all my other things needed.

We got ours from http://www.mygatsby.com, but they were not cheap. They do sell just the pocketfolds, I’m not sure how much that saves you. It ended up not being much more for us to order then all printed since we were only getting 25.

I got my pocketfolds from cardsandpockets.com.

cardsandpockets.com x 3!! They were well worth it, great quality and I got a lot of compliments on my invites.
here’s my post:
My Finished Invites! (PIC HEAVY!!)
I also highly recommend the Zip Dry Paper Glue. I used it more than I thought I would even after I made my invites.

I ordered from http://www.paperandmore.com when I used to make invitations on Etsy. Depending on the color you’ll probably pay no more than 80 centsa piece but you have to order 50 at a time.

i ended up having cards and pockets and paper and more going head to head.
i got samples and priced out equivalents…
they have very similar stock. definitely worth getting samples. at paper and more you pay for the samples and get a whole card for $1. at cards and pockets, you just get a square. honestly, i preferred getting the entire pocket to see for myself and insert my art.
price head to head…
they are almost exactly the same if you buy pocketfolds AND envelopes. the differences are:
- if you’re just buying pocketfolds, paperandmore are $.70 while cards and pockets are $.80
- at paper and more you have to buy in increments of 50.
- paper and more shipping is $3.99
- cards and pockets shipping was around $12.
All that being said, I could get 85 invites/envelopes at cards and pockets for $86 (incl ship).
paper and more because I had to buy 100 was $105 (incl ship)
I actually went with the paper and more because I was looking for something specific. the kraft paper they have actually looks like kraft and is recycled (paper is smooth, but has texture to it). The cards and pockets harvest is just kraft-colored.
hope this helps future brides!!!

This was helpful. I know everyone loves Cards and Pockets and I do too. But now I’m thinking I might have to use Paper and More to get a slightly bigger side pocket than Cards and Pockets offers.

I’ve bought a sample from cards and pocket and they seem very nice. I’ll might get it from them later
