I made my own- linen paper for $30 and I have tons of extra, ribbon for about $20 and have some extra, and blue ink from my printer which I already had. It took about 30 minutes to plan out, and 3-4 hours to actually complete (I made 70- I did layered invitations tied together with ribbon so there was a lot of exact cutting going on), simple folded programs (using one piece of paper) would take about an hour to do about one hundred.

I’m doing 8.5×11 cardstock, cutting it in half and putting both halves on a tongue depressor. I’ll probably do a sweet bow or something on the depressor for flair.

Something like this:

I’ll try to find the link, but what about programs like Mrs. Cherry Pie did? The only thing she had to buy was the backing that can be bought online or instore like at a Paper source, then use cardstock for the printing and tie a ribbon to hold em together. . let me go find the link cause my description is confusing as all get out.. .

I’m in the middle of making this one (the single page program). I like the idea of cutting an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper in half to save $.

I haven’t done it yet, but my plan is to have a single 4.25×11 piece of cardstock as the program. I’ll use an 8.5×11 piece of cardstock, make two columns in Word, and print them myself. We’ll probably have to print on both sides of the paper because we need bilingual programs, but I am not using ribbon or any other embellishments. I’ll just add a border to the column to dress it up a little.

I like simple and cheap.
