Any suggestions on a cheap rehearsal dinner venue in or near Marina Del Rey, Westchester, or Venice??? We originally wanted to have it on the beach at Paradise Cove in Malibu(where we met) but decided to do our day after brunch there instead…So now we are stumped on where to have it -preferably cheaper & closer to the venue & church.
Our Church is in Westchester just outside LAX and the hotel is in Marina del Rey. My Future Mother-In-Law is paying(fiances dad passed away so it’s just her pitching in) so we want to keep it pretty cheap! My Future Mother-In-Law & all my fiances family live in Chicago area so I told her I’d help her find a place! We will have about 30 or so people and are open to really any suggestions, mexican, pizza place, picnic areas, etc…

@[email protected]: OH OH!! C&O Trattoria in Venice Beach! I might have others but that comes to mind first – Italian place, and I love it!

Oh C&O is AWESOME. there’s also a brunch place out there…and the name of it totally eludes me, i think its the same people who own Castaway in Burbank…..or looks like castaway….really helpful, i know – sorry 🙂 But try Culver City too. Might give you more cheaper options, and still really close.

@Margaritachka: Are you thinking of the Warehouse?
There’s also Shanghai Red’s in MdR.
C&O is an awesome suggestion though. They do family style dinners. Might keep your costs down.
There are 2 C&Os on Washington Blvd. One (C&O Trattoria) is in Venice closer to Ocean Front Walk. The other (C&O Cucina) is closer to Lincoln.
Check ’em both out.

Our engagement party was at C&Os. They have special requirements when you are having a large party (I think there is like a minimum amount you have to spend per guest). They were great to work with though! And their garlic knots are AMAZING.
