If you’re okay with evites, paperlesspost is a super affordable way to get nice Save-The-Date Cards.  They have a lot of designs.

beanerchic69 :  Take a pic you like of you and Fiance, pup the essential info on it using Microsof Paint or what ever other program that can let you type info on a picture and print them in Walmart for $0.10 each for 4×5 inches picture size for 1 hour service . Boom! Buy coresponding size envelopes and print the adresses an them at home. And but postal stamps. Done. It cost us $7 to print Save-The-Date Cards, $15 for envelopes and like $50 for stamps for 65 Save-The-Date Cards. And a bit of ink in our printer. So all togethe aroinf $75 and they are awesome!!!! Everyone loved em.

How many will you need? There are printable magnet sheets you can buy if you decide to print your own. You can always buy a design off of Etsy if you don’t want to design your own from scratch. Just use the “Upload Your Own Complete Design” option on Vistaprint if you want to take advantage of their lower prices. A friend of mine did the business-card sized magnets on Vistaprint for her Save the Dates last year, and they turned out really well. (She used her own design, not one of Vistaprint’s templates.)

We got ours from Ann’s bridal bargains, always when there is a sale and we’ve been very happy with what we’ve gotten from them. We got our invites from them, not our stds but we would recommend them.

Wedding Paper Divas does magnets for over $1 each as well, BUT they always have sales and you can get up to 40% off sometimes which definitely helps. They also have save the date postcards for less than a dollar, which should save you money. Most people have magnets on their refrigerators anyways, so I wouldn’t worry about making magnets yourself.
