Mine was $100 and I got it off Etsy. 1.5mm wide and 14k rose gold 🙂

Try Etsy as already suggested, you can do a search there, like “thin gold band” and I am sure that something will come up within your budget. Personally I don’t like the idea of silver as a wedding band since it is not as durable as gold.

Ooh, yes, I’ve definitely seen some wonderful, thin yellow and white gold bands on Etsy for $100 and I am pretty sure much less, actually. As a PP said, do a search and put in $100 as your maximum.

My wedding band was $49 at a jewelery store.

My engagment ring was $89 at a pawn shop.

I don’t know if you’re interested in vintage, OP, but I’ve bought some 10k and 14k gold vintage jewelry from Etsy before, and I can’t say enough good things about one seller in partiular: http://www.etsy.com/shop/clovercreekbear

Just an idea, there’s plenty more where that came from! I find I prefer the vintage rings with a bit of personality to the simple, slim stacking bands available on Etsy, but that’s an option too 🙂

@MrsSnowMountain:  I am pretty sure you posting that link is going to be singlehandedly responsible for my “piggy bank” becoming substantially lighter and my right hand substantially heavier 😛

Berricle.com is also a great place to look — high quality and great customer service!  We bought mine for $40

I second Berricle for Sterling Silver and CZ (you might need to replace it later though) or going with another metal.  SS won’t last forever, but if you take care of it, it will last a long time.  I honestly have never had problems with my SS rings, except needing an occasional polish.  Also, titanium could be a fun option, you can find them on amazon for almost NOTHING, seriously, and I rather like the contrasting metals together.  Here’s my titanium wedding ring with my non-engagement 3 stone ring, which is white gold and diamonds.  I think they look good together, and a thinner band would work nicely too.

I got mine off ebay (try amazon and overstock.) Also places like Walmart and even craigslist or pawnshop will have nice cheap bands (you might not want a pre-owned wedding band though).
