I have not personally bought anything off milanoo but I have heard of it and have seen other posts say it is generally not really reputable. I almost did buy a dress off milanoo though .in other words it may end up like wish or eBay – not as what the picture looks when you get it.

I got my dress for cheap online also and here is the advice I wish I knew before doing so:

1. Try gowns in person first so that you have a better idea of what you like and what works on you, that way you are not just blindly buying a dress that you think you like online without knowing if the style works on you.

2. Check return policies. Alot of stores may have policies where you can return for a full refund so if that is the case then sure you can buy online and if you do not like it then at least you could send it back.

3. If it is so cheap that you do not mind just buying it to try and never using it if it happens to not come out well, then go for it. This is what I did – I totally just risked it because it was so cheap that if I did not end up liking it I did not really lose out. That milanoo dress you like is pretty inexpensive so if you feel you wanna risk it and try it anyway and will not feel bad about losing $50 then go for it!

4. Check other sites to see if they have that dress. Other sites like Amazon will have customer reviews and pictures and so if the customers show that the dress does come out the way it seems on model pictures then it would be ok to get. So if those other sites have it and it is similar pricing then maybe you can get it off those other sites instead.

5. Watch YouTube videos. This sounds weird but there are a ton of YouTubers who do videos like “I tried wedding gowns from eBay for under $50” and they will show you which gowns they chose from whatever site and their reviews on it. It really really shows you how far off some dresses can be from the website photos. So if you were going to buy a dress off Lulu’s for instance and they happened to review that dress then at least you could see how it looks on an actual person reviewing it.

There is always a risk with buying something online especially a wedding gown. So it is really about if you are willing to risk it. I am not against buying online at all. I am lucky my dress panned out well. But I have definitely seen a lot where the dress doesn’t come out as what people thought it would.

Good luck.

happiness2020 :  Tradesy, Lulus, Azazie.  These are well known and reputable online sites.  Many used and never worn dresses are sold on Tradesy.  I got my bridesmaid/MOB dresses (custom) on Azazie.

Your best bet is to get your measurements first and then start looking.
