since i’m planning on a wedding soon, i’m looking for any vendors that are selling cheap favors/accessories. i found a thread on slickdeals: http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=128854&t=1327627
anyone have more wedding sites to consider? thanks!

Try myweddingfavors.com. I’m ordering leaf bookmark from them.
If that’s over your budget, then consider personalized matchboxes (unit price is 50 cents to $1) or DIY projects like assembling little boxes and filling them up with personalized m&ms. Good luck!

There was an article in the local paper last Sunday that mentioned giving wine charms as favors-you can make them yourself by picking up the materials at a local beading store-you have complete control over the cost and you can personalize them! 🙂

atank84, I’ve gotten the leaf bookmarks at a bridal shower. They are pretty nice.

I am giving wildflower seed packets. 35 cents a piece when you order two hundred or more from American Meadows. I dare say it would be hard to beat that!

The cheapest favour is no favour at all. =) But you can have fairly cheap edible favours by giving our homemade cookies, having a candy bar, or having packets of seeds (flowers, herbs, veggies, anything!).
One cute thing that I thought of was to give out packets of lemonade (you can get these personalized, or you could make up little scratch & sniff favour tags or cards — mix some lemonade mix with some glue, paint it onto your favour tag, and you have a unique scratch & sniff tag!)…of course, this would work best at an outdoor, summery wedding.
Cheapest way to do a candy bar would be to buy gift baggies from the dollar store, and candy from the bulk aisle of your grocery store. =)
