@beezkneez: if u can reach up to $7,500, the Pine Hills Lodge in Julian (mountains of San Diego) was very lovely. We had an autumn wedding there with the ceremony among the pine trees and the reception inside the vintage lodge. Absolutely perfect setting.

While looking for the most affordable venue where I can get my moneys worth and still have a beautiful wedding, I have found 3 locations in the Inland Empire.

1) Wedgewood Wedding and Banquet Centers in Riverside Ca. www.wedgewoodbanquet.com

2) The Edwards Mansion in Redlands Ca. edwardsmansion.com

3) Green Mountain Ranch in Lytle Creek Ca. greenmountainranch.com

Wedgewood Wedding and Banquet Centers do EVERYTHING for you… its the most expensive of the 3, but well worth the extra buck if you want everything stress free. Really worth a visit.

Edwards Mansion has been the cheapest and is beautiful, with outdoor garden areas. For 150 guests you can have a great wedding for $7-8,000.

Green Mountain Ranch was beautiful, affordable and half price for children. However it is kinda in the mountain which makes for an unsafe trip home for your guests if you have alcohol at your wedding. Also the Wedding Director is WAY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Tomorrow I will be checking out Kimberly Crest House and Gardens in Redlands Ca. Ill let you all know how that goes. =]

Oh and although Benedict Castel in Redlands Ca is AMAZING they do not allow any alcohol OR dancing… plus, their cheapest plate is $30.00 a person.

@ambielynn:

Have you actually been to Edward’s Mansion yet?  I have been thinking of that place….but don’t want to actually look at it til I have a more definitive date in mind.  Is it as beautiful as the pictures make it seem?

Maybe you can choose the wedding dress on line, it will be much cheaper. I ordered some dresses on Peridress, they are great, we are very happy with them.

Good luck.

Beautiful – Includes almost everything – ranges for 50+ guests at 2250-2750 on a weekend day. Only slightly more for more guests, includes tables linens coordinator etc. (see website) That’s for ceremony and location. I have searched everywhere and still have not found a cheaper place that matches the beauty of this one. They also offer catering and have a very reasonably priced menu.

They are very flexible and very kind. I’m still looking but I just keep coming back to this place because it’s afforable and beautiful.

I am getting married in June in Diamond Bar and the Diamond Bar Golf Course. Our minimum is $3,000 because we are getting married on a Friday. If it were Saturday, I believe it would be $6,000. They have 3 different packages to choose from. The basic one includes the cake and some other stuff. The most expensive includes things like flowers and an open bar. It’s a pretty location with an outdoor ceremony space with lots of shade and pretty tulle/lights on the ceiling. We liked that the pricing includes food, cake, all the linens, tables, chairs, etc. Plus they set up and clean up. We looked at venues all around the IE. We wanted something that was reasonablly priced with an outdoor space for the ceremony. Green River Golf Course was also nice. I think the minimum was around $7,000 and it was just a tad out of the budget.

If you’re still looking for a wedding location, Ventura County has some great ones. There is a website http://www.weddingcelebrations.com that lists all the wedding venues with descriptions and pricing, photos too.  Bella Vista Groves on this website is gorgeous and affordable and they let you bring your own catering.

If  you’re willing to go to Santa Barbara, there’s a great place that’s super affordable and lets you bring in your own catering. See it at  http://www.weddingcelebrations.com/santa-barbara-wedding-locations/hidden-oaks-clubhouse/  Has an outdoor ceremony site and indoor clubhouse.

Bard Mansion is another great venue in Ventura County (Oxnard area). My friend had her wedding there for WELL under $5,000 and that included everything (ceremony and reception venue, full catered dinner, tables, chairs, tablecloths, silverware, glasses, dance floor, bar, parking, security). Like most places they offer a large weekday discount. It was a FANTASTIC deal!

The Citrus State Historic Park and Crestmore manor are both nice venues with an indoor and outdoor space.

My brother in law just got married in July and they used a really pretty place in fallbrook. I dont think it was crazy expensive or anything. Let me see if I can find what it was called…

This is the one they used! They also had a wedding planner named Julie that helped decorate…

That was just for the reception though… Hmmm my husband and I came across one that was very pretty in Temecula wine country searching for halloween pumpkins As well.
