Honestly, check out David’s Bridal. There are several lace dresses with long sleeves and I’m sure your time line won’t be an issue (I found my dress over Thanksgiving, and it arrived one week later. They had told me 2 months…).

Alternatively, rock whatever you want and get a lovely fake fur wrap!

eileenelly :  Not sure if you want to go all-white and this dress isn’t lace, but I recently bought the cute wintery dress below from Macy’s and it’s very warm. I accessorize it with a skinny black belt just above tthe waist

Saks Off 5th also has these lace ones:

OK I know this isn’t cheap, but what about taking this general idea of doing a pretty cream-colored top and pairing it with a light-colored maxi skirt?

I feel like you could buy a really lovely, form-fitting embellished top or light (cashmere?) sweater and a pair it with a silk or velvet skirt for very little money. Or you could go for shorter sleeves and add a cashmere or silk scarf or shawl. Not super cheap ideas, but way cheaper than a standard gown.

A few months ago, I purchased a 2011 sample dress from Tradesy for $200. You can get great deals on Tradesy and similar sites.

eileenelly :  If you are willing to consider other options, this could be an interesting alternative within your budget (jacket from Zara, mock turtleneck from Asos, skirt from White House Black Market):

Not sure where you live or where you will be getting married, but check out Rent the Runway. If you’re in a city where they have shops you can try some things on there, maybe get something shipped to the store to try on. They have tons of beautiful gowns you could wear, under $200, even under $100 and you don’t have to worry about reselling it.
