We’re going to Vegas and staying at Mandalay Bay. If FI’s parents hadn’t offered to pay, we’d probably spend a long weekend in NYC or Chicago.

why don’t you take another cruise? Most of the cruise-lines are significantly less expensive than Disney cruises, and I’m sure you could find a great one at that price.

Canada’s exchange rate is still pretty good compared to the dollar. It makes trips there a bit less expensive!

we’re just doing a short road trip so we can live it up while there, and not spend all our money on transportation….first stop is a bigger city, then out to a "charming, historic" town with vineyards nearby…probably ~$1000

Our trip (all inclusive and staying in the romance suites in villa) with airfare was REALLY REASONABLE.  Check out some of the daily deals over at bookit.

Two of my friends bought packages off there and got a heckuva lot of vacay for their $$!

We thought of renting a car and wine vinard hoping up the California coast! Also We rented a house on the Outer Banks in NC with my family.  That was awesome!  They have all different rates depending on the house you rent.  We didn’t eat out a lot because there was a grocery store walking distance from the one we rented so we made dinner several of the nights to save money.   http://www.carolinadesigns.com

You could also register for flight gift certificates or certificates to specific hotels or cruises to save you some money for the honeymoon you want!  I know a lot of people do that now since the economy is so bad!

We rented a beach front house in Emerald Island NC. It’s even cheaper this year, I think about $1500. It was fantastic. Quiet beach, easy, relaxing. We cooked most of our meals, ate out some. Then we drove up to Dewey Beach for a few days. We splurged more there, ate out, activities, etc. I liked the combo of a week of relaxing do-nothingness and then a few days of going out and adventure.
