(Closed) Cheapest cake possible?

we are thinking of doing this. found a bakery that will do small 2 layer cakes at 17 a pop. we were going to order 6, so thats a little over $100. not including the brownies and cookies etc.

@loveandapitbull:  Thanks for the recommendation.  I’ll have to go to do a taste test over the weekend and see how they compare to Gtown Cupcake!

I’m team grocery store cake! I actually kind of regret NOT doing one. Walmart has delicious cakes and I know they do actual wedding cakes too. Don’t know if you have Publix there in PA, but when I lived in Florida I totally swooned over the thought of a Publix cake for any occassion. They’re so good! Safeway also has good cakes out here, but I’m not sure what your chain out there is?

We are making a cake quilt! Google offbeat bride cake quilt! It’s such a cute idea and a great way to get a lot of famiy (friends) involved! It fits my “rustic elegance” theme well! Good Luck!
