Fiance booked our honeymoon just yesterday in the waiting room while I was at the dentist (I know right) for 6 days, 5 nights at all-inclusive Sandals Grande Riveria in Ocho Rios Jamaica and I am stoked!!! He says he got a good deal…pay for 4 nights and get 2 nights free. He booked it without airfare bc the flight arrival and departure options included were RIDICULOUS!!! So we still need flight tickets.
Anyone have good recommendations (discount websites, reasonable airlines, etc) for booking a flight?

I’ve used onetravel.com quite often, and have had a lot of luck there. I used it more in the past than more frequenty, so I can’t say how great it is now. But I was able to get some pretty good deals with it. Or, also what I’ve done more recently is use it as a searching resource, then go to the site of the airline itself and see if I can get the ticket for the same price, minus the surcharge from one travel. 🙂

We used tripadviser.com to book our plane tickets. You can search by airline, price, departure date, etc. The website also shows you the cheapest price from a variety of sites, so you get the prices from Expedia and Travelocity, but you’ll also get the airlines’ prices as well. Then when you go to book your tickets, Tripadviser redirects you to whichever site you’re buying them through.
You can also see detailed itineraries, like where your layovers will be, what type of plane you’ll be on, best seat reviews, etc.

Kayak.com is the best. It sources all airlines, then links you to the airline site to purchase, so you are actually buying it from the carrier. They do not search Southwest, so you’ll have to do that separately.

I like to look them up on Kayak.com and then book directly through the airline.

We used itravel2000.com It seemed to have the fewest fees.

I love Travelocity. No fees and I’ve never had any problems with them.
