Just thread stalked you to see your original dress.

Honestly, all ballgowns look the same to me. It’s about how you feel in the dresses. Do you feel really that awful in the first dress? Can you afford a second dress? Do you think yo’ure just going to go through dress regret again when this one comes in?

I’ve been going through dress regret myself, and I had to come to the conclusion that there are just TOO many dresses out there and it’s always going to feel like you’re missing out. Unfortunately, we only get to wear wedding dresses once (hopefully).  So picking the perfect dress is HUGE pressure. I’ve decided to be satisfied with the dress I chose originally, because I’m pretty sure I’d just get dress regret again if I chose another dress. Pretty sure…

I’ve decided to be satisfied with the dress I chose originally. I’ve decided to be satisfied with the dress I chose originally. I’ve decided to be satisfied with the dress I chose originally. I’ve decided to be satisfied with the dress I chose originally. I’ve decided to be satisfied with the dress I chose originally. I’ve decided to be satisfied with the dress I chose originally…

I had the biggest dress regret ever!  I event went to 3 other bridal salons after I ordered my dress.  I was hoping to fall back in love with my dress at one of those stores but I didn’t.  I didn’t fall in love again until I was at the shop picking up my dress.  I was REALLY nervous, but when I tried it on I loved it and remembered why I wanted it and why it was perfect for me.  I still have moments where I look at the pic and go UGH why did I pick this!  But then I remember the feeling I had in the salon and how the adjectives used to describe the dress are the adjectives I use to describe myself.

What you have here is two totally different dresses.  One satin, one tulle. I personally LOVE your satin gown (mine is satin too).  I think you look beautiful in it already!

What type of feel/vibe of your wedding are you  going for? What time of day is it? The gown you originally chose is very classic, modern and elegant. It also fits in well with a late winter wedding. The JA dress is also very elegant, but it is a bit “younger” and princessy.  That is great, if that is what you want.

Your dress is very beautiful.  (Maybe this isn’t so helpful, but I did google your J Alexander dress, and that was stunning, I can see why you were cheating. 🙂 )

@csteen85:  I think I’m going to have to make a conscious decision to love my original dress again. +1

That’s the spirit!
