I love it the way it is! Is your wedding all indoors?  Just thinking a long dress might be better in November as well.

I didn’t cut it to a tea legnth– but I did cut my dress, My sister told me I’d ruin my entire wedding, my mom said it was a waste of a beautiful dress… Everyone told me I was crazy right up until they saw me in it! I am SOOOOO happy I made the choice I did.  I woudl strongly recommend you wait until about 6-8 weeks before the wedding to do it though; it doesn’t take long, and that way, you wont have time to second guess yourself because once it’s cut, there’s no turning back– by waiting you ensure that it truly is what you want to do. Also, if you change your mind a million times about your shoes, you wont have to stress about the heel height (like me!)

I also like your dress the way it is, but I say chop it to tea length if you want to. You love tea length, so why not? It’s just fashion. 🙂 You should have fun in your wedding dress and not worry too much…

I think it would look adorable in tea length! Definitely wait a bit to make sure though. Its crazy but bridal trends change alot in a year, closer to the wedding you’ll have a better idea of what you want. Might be a good idea to get a quote for time/$ from the seamstress now though. Good luck!

@juliette.eliza:  That is so cool! I love that you were not afraid to do it! Looked good… so the OP could cut hers too if she really wants.
