I’ve been meaning to post this for a while… I wanted a unique centerpiece that would be something the guests noticed/remembered and I love being crafty so a DIY project was right up my alley! I saw a ribbon topiary on the ‘bee and gave it my own twist…
Our colors are black & white with teal accents. Oh, and I love polka dots and stripes and am doing my best to tastefully encorporate them into the reception decor (mostly polka dots). 🙂
Let me know what you think!
** The ribbon pomanders will be placed atop different stemware (flipped upsidedown) so they’ll be in varying heights. The linens will be black, with white china. I’ll be setting the centerpieces either on a square of teal fabric or a mirror (TBD) with 5 tealight candles around it.

Omg those are fantastic!!!!! GREAT job!!!!! Also if you have a cuttlebug or bigshot, you can get the sizzix plate which has polka dots for your stationery. It is very subtle but striking.

That is adorable! And the upsidedown wine glass is a great idea. Are you gluing/taping them on top, or will they be loose?

I love it! I would think the fabric of the mirror (or both?) would work really well. You could even reuse these in your house after the wedding.
I may borrow this idea to decorate my very bare living room, if you don’t mind.
