might have some merit. I mean, maybe there SHOULD be more responsible marketing targeting kids... : (13 votes)

I didn’t get past “…claims it violates California law for the hamburger chain to make its meals too appealing to kids, thus launching them on a lifelong course to overeating and other health horrors.” before I had to close the window…

I read this foolishness. Who CARES if a child pouts when you tell them no? Sheesh! Parents are too busy trying to be their kids friend to teach them discipline and responsibility. Sue the company instead of parent your child? Ridiculous.

Somebody should explain to that woman that you can buy the toys without ordering the cheeseburger.  I should know – there’s a cardboard disc-shooting Starscream awesomeing up my coffee table right now.

Ugh when I was growing up, there were the same things but my parents only let us go out to McDonalds only occasionally!  It’s not that hard to say no!

Lol – seriously?  I’m the only one in a goofy enough mood to vote “legit”?  Come on, ladies.  WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?!

I think the lawsuit is pretty strange, but do think it we’d be better off with less marketing that specifically targets children.

That’s not really a problem that can be fixed through law, though, I don’t think.

So this Mom is saying her kid has more control over her spending than she does?

I just wrote five different sentences, but none were nice could really convey my thoughts on that.  Wow.

ETA: Darling Husband just said “what lawyer is dumb enough to file that lawsuit?”
