@scarlette:  well if you love it go for it πŸ™‚ even though you pay for the church it is still a church, not like other venues, but you’ll have to check with the church itself to see what’s appropriate πŸ™‚

Maybe OK for an after party, but it certainly isn’t church appropriate. I’d be surprised if they didn’t have anything to say about it if asked.

I don’t think the lack of sleeves is what makes in inappropriate…what about the length and sheerness of it? Its way too short and revealing.

Honestly, I’m not a fan and certainly not for a church wedding.

I did know a girl who wore a similar dress. She was a heavily tattooed stripper who paired it with thigh high boots and they separated a few months later.

Wow! The dress would be nice on a beach, but I couldnt imagine even asking a priest about wearing it in church. I was concerned with a strapless dress for myself and my BM’s being inapproporaite. I would definately speak to the priest and see what the return policy is online.

Ohh I do like this for a beach wedding , Or even something to change into for the reception . I do agree with some ppl ^^ A church , I do not think would be the best place but then again YOU ARE THE BRIDE. SO it is your day and I am sure you will look great in it:)

i hope they don’t make me add cap sleevs or somthing!  lol, I don’t think the lack of sleeves is the issue here.

Glad you checked with the priest, OP.  I certainly have never been to Catholic wedding where the bride wore a short, sheer, deep v-neck dress and 6 inch leopard heels.
