My due date is tomorrow and I haven’t received a single one this week and I’m still waiting for 14 cards, kinda frustrated. Guess I’ll be calling a lot of people.

I got a bunch at first then it kinda fizzled from there. some people forget some like to wait until the last minute and some don’t ever plan on sending one in.

Compared to my RSVPs that is a great response rate! Granted we sent our invites two months before the due date and three months before the wedding, but it’s been more than a month since we sent them out and we only have like 40%. I’m always excited to check the mailbox 🙂

I am waiting on 9 more rsvp for my 60 person guest list. Deadline is May 15. May  and June are very busy month for me so it would be nice to have all of them back soon.

I sent out 23 invitations and we got 7 back within the first week. Our deadline is May 10th so I’m thinking we must have gotten the early birds responses and now we’re waiting for the, “oh I forgot it on the fridge” people.

Our deadline is Monday May 4th we sent out 150 invitations and we have about 100 replies for yes! Its exciting and frustrating when we dont get any one day. We have a few stragglers and will be making phone calls to those people that we havent heard from in about a week!

We sent our invites out 3 months in advance and the RSVP’s came quickly at first and then stopped and then about 2 weeks prior to the deadline we had 3 or 4 each day. We still had to call some that didn’t RSVP at all.

justwondering2015:  Well, we sent out around 200 and have about 30 back. They have exactly one month left to send them in. I check the mail every day! LOL! I’ve heard that some people want to keep the pretty RSVP and send verbal responce through the grape vine. We aren’t accepting those though. We’ve invited 380 people, but are hoping to have about 300 accept. There is no way we are going to be able to track that many people through word of mouth, emails, and texts. That’s exactly why I sent pre-addressed (theirs and mine), pre-stamped envelopes to them. We are saying “No RSVP, no seat”. Fiance told his family he will give away their seat if he doesn’t get the RSVP back. Lol! I know it sounds harsh, but we aren’t going to let them drive us crazy. I’ve already had two calls saying they want to keep the RSVP as well. I told them to send it to me anyhow, and if they still want them for momentos or scrapbooking purposes, I can reorder a few cards at a layer date.

What really gets me are the return to sender invites. I didn’t order extra shimmer envelopes, stamps, and labels to resend them again. They are all marked up from USPS. We verified all the addresses, but we are getting “Oh, maybe you got it back because I didn’t put my name on the box” and “Oh, I gave you the wrong apartment number. Oops,” and “I moved last week and didn’t forward my mail”.

But for everyone following the rules and sending them back, I get excited every time I get a response.

I, like you, anxiously await checking my mailbox every night after work! We sent our invites out a month ago, and the RSVP date is May 9th. So far we have gotten about 75% of our responses back. I definitely find this to be the most frustrating part of wedding planning. There are people who haven’t responded that I have known for months most likely cannot come. I don’t know if they just assume I have them as a “No”, but I am hesitant to assume that because maybe there is a chance they can come and that is why they haven’t sent the response yet. I didn’t include a response card and self addressed stamped envelope for no reason people! Argh!

justwondering2015:  we received probably 90% of the rsvps we received in the first 2 weeks. I thought it would pick up close to the date but it never did, just a couple every now and then. It was suprising to me. But for us we still had a little over 30 remaining unanswered at ur rsvp date.

justwondering2015:  most of ours came back within about 3 weeks and then its just the random one here or there. Our deadline is tomorrow. I don’t know the exact number of how many we are missing I plan to look sometime next weekend since I’m sick of constantly updating the spreadsheet.

Our invites came in later than we had hoped for so our guests had 2 1/2 weeks to get the RSVP’s back to us. We recieved most of the RSVP’s by the second week and a few more after the deadline. There was 5 that we never got back and we had to contact them to get an answer.

justwondering2015:  Since I know people can be notorious non responders and have heard horror stories of people not sending back any response and just showing up, I put my RSVP date as today. Imagine my surprise (sarcastic) when I’ve not gotten responses back from over 50% even though I’m hearing through the grapevine that folks have already booked hotel rooms and flights!

Luckily, I expected this and I’m not in a panic because I gave us 2 weeks of leeway for just this reason. I really need to know by the 15th, so anyone who hasn’t responded  as of today is getting a reminder call/text asking that they give us a response. I’m sending my groom’s non response list to his mom to follow up because his family gave him a really hard time when they didn’t feel that they’d received their invitations when they should have and are now not sending back  their RSVPs. I can’t even deal with that craziness.
