I think I’m running behind. Because of some financial issues we are having right now (I’m laid off but I may be returning soon) we are going to have to play catchup in January.

Done: We’ve booked our florist, venue, officiant, photographer, DJ, caterer, and our cake. I bought my Dress and we’ve told the bridal party what to wear. Oddly enough I think the guys have all ordered their suits… the girls not so much. We sent our Save the Dates and had our engagement photos done and set up a room block at a hotel near the venue.

Still to do: Order the invitations and send them, fill out all the questionnaires for our officiant, follow-up with the girls on their dresses, figure out the rehersal dinner, book a shuttle to transport guests from the hotel, and about a hundred other details which I am sure I am forgetting.

We’re definitely on schedule. We ordered invites and got a suit last week, so there’s really not much left to do.

Have done: Dress, venue, photographer, band, caterer, day of coordinator. CHECK!

Still to do: invitations, order cake, get suits for the guys, my DIY decorations, and I’m making a brooch bouquet.

Oddly enough the wedding dreams JUST started (I dreamt it was the day of the wedding and I had forgotten to make my bouquet. I knew it was a dream though and knew I was just telling myself to GET IT DONE! LOL)

I feel like I’m really behind because I still haven’t booked our caterer or DJ. I have venues, an officiant, my dress, and I’m ordering my flowers tomorrow, though.

I have an appointment to speak with the caterer on Tuesday and I’m going to start getting the wedding party gifts and order my invitations in December. As long as I get back on track by February I should be okay…

    Or should I be worried?

Hmm… Done: Reception, linen, dress, garters, guest book, arch for ceremony

Not done: Everything else. Would be much further ahead but offician musician and photographer we booked are for one reason or another no longer available. Uuuugh… And the caterer hasn’t called me back in a while… Yikes!

Done:  Reception, ceremony, photographer, florist, cake, reception band, dress, bridesmaid dresses, wedding shower (booked by my mom), registering.

Not done:  Invitations, rings, favors, bridal party gifts, limo, hair/make-up stylist, groomsmen suits, honeymoon, rehearsal dinner, guestbook, ring bearer pillow, garters.

We’re focusing right now on the honeymoon but because neither of us has ever travelled before we’re kind of lost with it, we’re not sure if we should go to Florida or the Bahamas since the Bahamas is all inclusive and Florida is not.

We basically know our rehearsal dinner, we’re taking people for pizza.  The place we’re getting our invites from told us to meet with them a month and a half before they need to be sent out so we’ll probably do that end of December.
