I’m having a Destination Wedding and just using a regular checklist. The stuff we’re not doing, I just check off as done.

Music? We’re doing a Destination Wedding and definitely aren’t hiring a band or DJ (our families don’t dance much), but are planning on bringing and ipod and some speakers for first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance.

@orchidaloha:  i have always liked the idea of a welcome gift, but if you want to make it great it doesn’t have to be a bunch of stuff. maybe pick 3 nice things (especially regional/local) and tie them together with a bow? we are doing italy, so maybe i’ll do some local olive oil, bottle of wine, and maybe one other thing.
