crisy003:  Quick! Think of something that makes you happy!! You have to change your thoughts around. I used to use my dogs. They make me happyyyyyy! (well, except for the psychotic one)

I went and found this quote cause it always inspires me when I am having an awful day. I can certainly relate to you today- I feel like I just want to sleep forever till my problems fix themselves. The best thing I could say is that everything is temporary- including sadness, including problems. This is a temporary experience and something better is coming. Do something today that you enjoy that might cheer you up- Netflix and bubble bath, a pedicure, your favourite meal, a good book, a nice swim or hot tub. Get out and get some exercise or just fresh air- it will cleanse your spirit and give you endorphins. Just be gentle with yourself, and your happiness will return. 🙂

foreverlovex:  OMG some of those were so funny! My favorites are always the stuff that babies & baby animals do.

When I’m having a bad day I always repeat:

Non si male nunc et olim sic erit

– Horace, Odes II

Which roughly translates as “if things are bad now they won’t always be”.

Do something that makes you happy. Silly internet memes are good. Fresh air and sunshine works miracles.

Have you tried meditation? It always helps me find my center when I’m low. Perfect when I’m overwhelmed. There’s lots of good guides and apps for beginners now. I can’t over emphasize how good meditation makes me feel!!

Go look in the mirror and smile at yourself. Say, out loud, five things that you love about yourself.

Awww, this was me yesterday and even posted the same kind of thread! You know what? A good night’s sleep helps immensely! And leaning on your man who loves you.
