My only advice is to pre-cool the car by running the a/c then drive with it all the way up. Or put them in a big cooler.

Use a large cooler (or several small ones).

In order to layer the cupcakes so they don’t get crushed, wad up balls of aluminum foil  that are larger than your cupcakes and rest cake racks on the balls.

You can do as many layers as will fit into the cooler. If you want to ensure they stay cold, prechill the cooler with ice water, or add ice packs at the top-(as cold air will fall to the bottom of the cooler).
