Have you peed on any sticks? Could you be pregnant now?

RedPandas:  I would take another test just to be sure. I had what seemed like a medium flow for a day and spotting in the week leading up to my positive test. I think it would be best to just know for sure.

I agree – take another test to be sure and if you continue to bleed go and see your doctor.

I think I had a chemical pregnancy a couple of months ago… my period was 1 week late, I started getting terrible acne (I never EVER get acne), my brests were really hurting and I was feeling nauseous… And then I got a heavy period.. and was back to normal. So either a chemical pregnancy or an early miscarriage… no way to tell now. Oh well, better luck next time 🙂

Definitely test again.  I’m guessing one day of medium bleeding and 6 days of spotting is not a normal period for you.  I can’t count out a chemical pregnancy, but I would think you would have ended up having heavier bleeding (like a normal period or even a little heavier).  It’s also totally possible to have quite a bit of spotting (and even heavier bleeding) at the beginning of pregnancy.

I’m going to vote with the test again camp too.  What you’re describing doesn’t sound like my early mc/chemical at all.  I just had no AF, positive test, and then a week later bleeding and cramping just like a normal period with tests that turned negative.  None of the pregnancy symptoms that I’d had before stayed either.

I’d guess you’re either pregnant, or you’re just having one of those totally off-the-wall cycles that doesn’t seem to make any sense.

RedPandas:  Hey! The fastest/most reliable way to confirm is to got to your doctor for a blood test. I was still getting positive hpt with all of my cp’s even after they were confirmed that my levels were going down. Sometimes it takes awhile for the hormones to leave your system. So you may just be wasting money/getting your hopes up by doing a hpt. I did have cramping/fatigue but everyone is so different, plus I have friends with the same symptoms that I had and they ended up having healthy pregnancies.

Good luck 🙂 FX for a sticky baby!

RedPandas:  Aw, sorry to hear that.  How frustrating.  Hopefully this next cycle or two will be a little clearer and understandable so you can figure out what’s happening.
