I started trying for my second at 34 years and after 10 months got the HSG done. I fell pregnant after that( next month) only to result in a chemical pregnancy.
Feeling very sad. Anyone who has experienced anything similar. Looking for some positive vibes. The RE is scaring me of my age. Just turned 35. My first was conceived at age 27 in 3-4 months of trying.

I’m so sorry for your loss, bee. I haven’t had a chemical pregnancy, but just wanted to let you know that if you check the TTC boards, there is a thread for trying to conceive after a loss. I know the ladies there are very supportive! Wishing you lots of comfort and good luck on your journey to a rainbow baby.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I started trying when I was 34, on the 5th cycle I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. One year later I had a chemical pregnancy and the very next month I got pregnant again for the third time and it was a healthy successful pregnancy, so I was 35 when he was born. Very soon after I gave birth to my son, thinking it took so long the first time that we didn’t have much to worry about and procrastinating about getting back on birth control, I got pregnant again and am now 36 weeks with my second healthy pregnancy and just counting down the days until my second son arrives. I will be 36 in the spring.
No one expects the TTC journey to be such a difficult one, but it really is! I hope everything works out for the best for you very soon!!!

jny1179: Heartiest Congrats dear on both your pregnancies. Since my first one was so easy. I never thought It will become so heart wrenching. My daughter is 7 already. I have started stressing alot more so since meeting the RE. He was saying so much about the age. He didn’t give a damn to the chemical I had last month. So many of my friends have easily gotten pregnant in this age group of 34-36. Thanks a lot for your support . Only those who have gone through it can understand.
jetsetbee: Thanks so much for this. I will check that board.
