I love it!!! I’m a fan of fun, interesting elements at a wedding, and this would definetly catch my eye. Go for it!!! If it were me, I would skip the rose petals, it really makes a statement all on it’s own.

i might do larger chevron pattern to make it less busy looking. The gray will tone it down a bit. very different and fuN!

@Mrs_Harmer_to_be: I find it busy. But that could be because it’s the black against the white, or the angle of the photo it might be softer in real life and in different colours.

I think it would be pretty in the white and grey, but I seriously don’t get runners on grass. Aren’t they hard to walk on?! I mean the grass is irregular already as it is…

I absolutely love it!! Chevron is so in.  You could get that fabric at a fabric store or Walmart. But the thing is it will probably be expensive. Cheap fabric is usually $4/yard so that could really add up!!

I love chevron but am having trouble picturig it with rose petals – to me, rose petals say pretty garden wedding, and chevron says modern graphic wedding, I’m a bit skeptical of how they’d look combined.

I love the chevron! As far as the issue of grass, pop small holes in the corners of the runner and stake it in the ground with tent stakes to keep it from bunching.

Chevron is a pretty big thing now, but for how long?  Will you want to see this in your photos in 10 years?
