My venue in SF Bay Area offered them for $6.50 a chair.  Good luck with your hunt!

I know my area doesn’t help you, but just an FYI – Our venue didn’t have Chiavari chairs so if I wanted them I would have to outsource them. I got a quote from an outside vendor, then read the fine print on my venue contract and….If i brought in outside chairs they were going to charge me an extra 50 cents each chair to store the ones I wasn’t using!!

So check to see if your venue does that and factor that cost into it! Good luck!

@RoundSolitaire:  whaaat? that’s so mean! i mean if they didn’t have what you wanted you shouldn’t have to PAY them too.  >:O that’s the part that i hate about weddings!

Too much! We’re having them because our venue charges only $4.50/each for them. I spent a lot of time pricing them and most were $8 and the cheapest I found was $7.

We’re getting ghost chairs, which are apparently around the same price as chiavari chairs. We’re paying $10/chair. ugh, soooo expensive.

In Central Florida they can be found for $5.50-$6 each. I’m in love with them but my fiance doesn’t think they’re worth the $900 that we’d spend. Nevertheless, I’m certain that we’ll get them. 🙂

@garden_bride:  This is what they look like …

I love them and think they add something really special to the decor so, for me, they’re worth the expense. But I agree with you that the price is cray cray!! haha

Ours are standard with the venue we chose but with the other venue they were $6 or $7 per chair.

Chivari were going to be $10 per chair to rent.  We are going with white wooden folding, for $3 each.  The venue comes with rectangular tables and grey metal folding chairs – they are taking them down and storing them for free!  (FI is a Disabled Vet, so we get some pull at the American Legion)
