My future sister in law did hers in Chicago! We hung out and played games at her friends apartment, then went to a few bars, some were fun, others meh. My favorite was Rockit – kind of a modern place with a fancy garage feel (if that even makes sense lol), and they played 90s and early 2000s rock music!

As far as museums, my favorites have always been the Art Institute and the Field Museum! But for a bachelorette party, the museum of Science and industry might be more “fun” (lots of hands on and interactive things!).

There are SO many fun things to do in chicago! I’ve planned several in DT chicago, so if you have a neighborhood you’ll be staying in or vibe you are looking for I’d be happy to help! Some other recs- Bad Axe throwing, Royal Palms Shuffleboard, escape rooms, chicago cycleboats are all great activities for a bachelorette! for bars- howl at the moon, old crow are both fun and have live music on weekends. Hampton Social and J parker rooftop bar (which is across from lincoln park zoo/chicago history musuem) are both great afternoon bars with food. Osteria Via Stato is italian downtown that isnt too expensive and has good food and accomodates groups esp with dietary issues. Also Cantina Loredo for mexican.

cjoy12 :  I had my bachelorette party in Chicago and it was great! Not sure exactly what you’re into but we went to the bar “Untitled.” It has a speakeasy feel. They have a live band and some burlesque on certain nights too. It was so much fun!

I went to a bachelorette party in Chicago and we went to a drag show at The Baton Show Lounge and it was really fun.

A friend of mine is having a boozy brunch on one of the boats. I believe we’re going on the Odyssey.
