Check out my post!!  I’ve got TONS of vases and they are cheap.  They probably just need a quick run through the diswasher.

It’s in the Weddingbee Classifieds; the title is below.  I did 3 vases on each table and filled them with different items: I had lemons in 1, limes in the 2nd, and a pillar candle (that you can get pretty inexpensively from Ikea) on the 3rd.  They were super simpe and I got loads of compliments. You could do something really pretty with fall colors.  My cousin did something similar and filled the bottoms of some of her vases with the fall-color M&Ms.  They were really cute…and tasty!  And a hint if you use candles and want to reuse the vases…put a little water in the bottom of each vase and it will keep the wax from sticking.

Let me know if you’re interested!!!

@WIGIRL79: I’m getting married in May and am doing Manzanita branches (with crystals) for my centerpieces.  I never thought about selling them but that would be a good idea since I’ll have no use for them after the wedding.  I’ll have about 12 though.

@windycitygirl22: I bought them online from ebay.  I just purchased a few of them to try them out and I’ll be purchasing the rest next month.  Shipping is what is pricey!  I’d be willing to selling my centerpieces if you’re interested!

Hey! Me too!  I’m getting married the weekend after yours on the NW side of Chicago.  I’m planning on using succulents (buying now) with dahlias (will buy online $1/ea) in a square or rectangular glass or wood.  I have the same # of guests and also need 15 centerpieces!

I was hoping to get the succulents from a bride’s leftovers this spring/summer, but I haven’t gotten any responses to that post.

We could share centerpieces (although the fresh flowers would have to be changed & I’d have to have some sort of guarantee that none of your guests would take them).

My mock-ups are 10″x10″, have 10 succulents and 3 large flowers. I think it will cost me $1 per flower/succulent, plus the cost of the vase/container.

For some reason I can’t find my inspiration photos, but it would be something like this (only with more succulents than flowers)

example here (link very long)
